Great thread!! S & F.

I believe the Coup d'etat proved to be successful on November 22, 1963, a day that SHOULD live in infamy.

On this day, the CIA took control of America's Foreign policy, LBJ got his much desired Presidency, Corporate America got the Vietnam War, and the elite bankers began deficit spending.

CIA, NSA and the Joint Chiefs to be more precise. Congress and the justice dept. and the executive branch are briefed and properly indoctrinated as the newbies enter office. Do as your told or else, remember JFK?

Okay so, I'm from Canada so please correct me if I am wrong here, but from my understanding of the Declaration of Independence, the US government should have been overthrown a very long time ago. Something like 'should the governing body become destructive to it's people, it is the people's job to overthrow such a government and replace it with a new one that they make work and follow the guidelines of this declaration.' I know that is a very, very, off-quote, but it does say something to that effect. It seems to me like we have ALL been conditioned to expect somebody else - somebody in power - to 'fix' everything for us, to do all of the important things. People think 'well, that's not me, somebody else is going to do what needs to be done. I'm just an ordinary citizen, what can I possibly do?' But it is precisely THAT line of thinking that got us all to where we are today. Gosh, I love the French. They are so inspiring...

Even so.. he's actually been discussed a few times by others already. Sorry, but when I make a thread, JFK will make an appearance. It's practically mandatory.

Yeah.. I get it. Do you get that you are coming off as a pretentious jerk though?
Sorry if you thought I was trying to derail your thread. Peace.

Well, with all due respect, but it does become quite frustrating having to explain the same simple point over and over again. And when you take what I say, and use it to come to a completely different conclusion (such as claiming I'm trying to stop others give their opinions), the frustration increases.

I'm voluntarily posting here because I want to learn, not suppress.

Ah, once again the Tea Party is mentioned. I find that really interesting. I saw it mentioned a couple of times even when researching for this thread..

As an Englishman living in English, thus not used to hearing about the Tea Party or anything else related to American Politics, I'd really love to hear what you or others think about there alleged connection to this case, such as how they seem to be following in the footsteps taken by the American Liberty League in fact, something I found to be quite a fascinating anomaly to say the least.

So, for those much more knowledgeable than I am on this issue, I'd genuinely love to be educated more on this..

The US Civil War was a big Coup....Russia sent it's Atlantic AND Pacific Fleets to Northern Ports, thus Russia was why US States lost their sovereignty.

I bet there's still classified papers saying Russia fired weapons in the US Civil War as well as having boots on the ground...maybe even on the Battle of Gettysburg.

Russia's actually been a loyal partner to suppress Americans. Up to today.

The American Coup...actually happened long long ago and we ain't been sovereign since. joined at the hips.

Thank you for this. I have had much interest in Smedley Butler, and the attempted over throw, for many years

Quite a few things that I hadn't come across in my research.

Since the first time I discovered this whole story, i have had the feeling that they simply went under ground with their attempt.

Nobody can deny the influence mega-corporations have over the USA's political engines and policies. Countless examples exist throughout history. If it were up to me, Smedley Butler would be on the cover of every US History book.

Wow! Considering that the United States had no pacific coast at the time of the civil war (there were only 13 states and all of them along the Atlantic Coast) how did the Russian Pacific fleet fire on the United States during its civil war? Did they have ICBMs back then too?

Disgust doesn't begin to describe the way i feel.
Yes FDR had some socialist ideas.
But had it not been for him we would all be saying SIEG HEIL.
Apparently you right wingers would not be opposed.

Spoken like a true pathological leftist liar. Nazism is a left-wing ideology. But maybe your not a pathological liar, maybe your just ignorant? You see the Fabian political scale only really works/makes sense in Europe. In America though it makes no sense what so ever(American Political Spectrum: Farther left=Bigger government, Farther right=Smaller Government/more rights for the citizenry, hence libertarianism is a far right political moevement). It is just that leftist neo-conservatives and social conservatives hide behind issue's because where they stand on the American political spectrum they could never win an election on as they are just as big of leftist's as Obama.

People need to strip culture from politics, all it enables is for slime to hide behind it.

Umm WTF are you smoking? The American Civil War Happened in the 1860's. Meaning because of the Louisiana purchase we had a pacific coast in Washington/Oregon and because of Texas and California joining the Union after they seceded from Mexico.

Russia gave mostly moral support to America. It was the German American community that was directly responsible for ending slavery and crushing the evil south slave states, as the Irish Americans/Irish immigrants didn't want to fight to free a bunch of(yep the Irish went there back then, more Irish fought for the Confederates). And the Anglo's weren't much better.

I am very, very proud of the fact that my ancestors helped to literally raze the evil slave holding South to the ground.

Don't really know when what states joined the USA and thanks for the information. Given that the civil war was referred to as being between the North and the South, assumed it happened before the Lousiana purchase, when the slave-holding states constituted the South, which can now be described only as the South-East.

So which states of the USA did Russia attack and exactly how did they help the confederacy?

ok, say the fed and the people pulling the strings (not claiming to know exactly who they are) really did spend decades previous to rape us of our money so "they" could fund their lifestyles and go on a bunker building spree across the world to ensure they survive the collapse...and say they did spend this little memorable sliver of humanity's history pumping us full of toxins and lies, robbing us of our presence of mind and physical health, and maybe we are actually right about it all...

but after the collapse, i'd say it was our responsibility to find said bunkers with the rich and powerful and do with them what we please, afterall, they couldn't take ALL their missiles and bunker busters in there with them

there will always be more of us than there are of them

You may have a point.

Most older folks I talk to, especially boomers, feel that when Kennedy was killed, America began its' slow death.
