All started with the 2010 FIFA World Cup, I think (not sure if the actually did) a dutch record company signed them (Die Antwoord) and that got the ball rolling. They played at some big concerts here in the Neterlands like Lowlands.

I think we like the SA artists because of the low language barrier. It's sort of a dutch, english crossover (correct me if I'm wrong VVV ).

For sure mate, the language is so similar, that i can understand it perfectly, and i am sure you Dutch guys, can even understand Afrikaans.

That is why these SA bands work well in Holland, and Belguim and even Vlaandere.

I feel like a heel - l could have sworn I responded earlier - thanks for that inside information - have you ever seen them live? I know they played a huge festival in the US (Cochella) so their music must be liked...I can't figure out what started first, the band or the comedy?
