So this band is from South Africa. They played cochella and are international buit there is still a raging debate if this is just a joke that got big...I love the Antwoord, what do you guys think?

There are more, but this should be enough to get the discussion started - legit or fake?

Why? Because Zef Side is massive? More added and thanks!

This video deal with the SA tribal tradition of taking boys into the bush and circumcising them and the one's who don't like it - wonder how this will go over - by the way - Yolandi Busser (the rat girl) is great!!!

I don't know...either they're brilliant comics, or they really are that weird...

That's what I'm talking about dude69! I can't tell, but their beats are good, the rap is ok and Yolandi Busser brings it all on home...man, love the Antwoord!

SA Art School from the slums? Maybe. I for one give them the Universal 3 years behind but ahead by a year tag...

These are three neighbors from a New Zealand ghetto. The thin guy and the blonde are dating. I have no idea why, but I like them. They are weird as hell. They try to assign political statements to their songs, but they're just a bunch of gangsta wannabes.

Excellent! I also saw my fav yolandi in there at the beginning of vid 1. This gives the thing a little more flow...but what about this? They seem to be serious playing a relatively small SA theater...good energy too!

Yeah guys, Die antwoord and Jack Parow are pure South African.

They are rather big here, although Die antwoord cannot really be played on radio, because there are alot, and i mean ALOT of swearing in their music!

Die antwoord is all about the "zef" culture, which is kinda hard to describe. Zef is usually people from poorer areas, that try to be cool, hrm, that is the best i can describe it.

In SA, Die antwoord is either hated, or loved, there is no middle ground.

Because of their controversial videos, and very controversial lyrics, they sometimes get banned from playing at certain gigs, which automatically make their impact smaller.

Not my style of music, but hey, its South African, so i am proud!!
