Afghan Cops Killed In NATO 'Friendly Fire' Air Strike

Up to four Afghan policemen were killed and two injured in an air attack by the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) on a police checkpost in Nooristan province in eastern Afghanistan, reports said on Monday.

The Provincial Governor's office said the checkpost at Wanna had been targeted by ISAF aircraft on Sunday even though an Afghan national flag was hoisted there.

Also, it said all police personnel present there were clad in the official uniform which would have enable..

I don't know but friendly fire incidents in the past are a lot worse than now. Just look at the friendly fire rates in the Gulf War.

During the first Gulf War, 35 Americans killed by friendly fire from fellow American forces. That's really high and it's 24%.
