The discount site 'groupon' own this domain. Should we be worried? Maybe every penny saved by you is re-imbursed by the illuminati to further their evil agenda. Or maybe they(groupon) just thought it would be a popular keyword and bought it on the off chance. I guess we will never know...

People buy domain names all the time, Then turn around and sell them to the highest bidder..

This is nothing new, Nor is it surprising at all that someone would buy the domain name "NWO.COM"..

I agree Tech. This is nothing but a very shrewd and intelligent business decision. Run of the mill domain names (to anyone but the company who wants it) can run 10's of thousands of dollars. I really envy these guys for thinking to get NWO.COM. Talk about an investment with far more appreciation and value than gold when they finally decide to auction it.

It's possible.. Awhile ago a old friend of mine told me a interesting story..

Apparently when cellphones started to become the "new craze"..People started getting rid of there pagers.. A bunch of "groups" bought up all the pager numbers, And then sold the numbers to the highest bidding cell phone company's.. (sprint, verizon, so on)..

Same idea with domain names, For example, lets say Disney.com does not exist.. and Disney being the huge corporation it is, wants to make a website.. Disney would need to buy the domain name from whoever owns it.. If anyone owned it at the time so to speak..

OK, But didn't it pass in congress or something to open up the domain thing? so instead of .com or .net it could be say something like .tar for target or .wal for walmart?

would they just do something like -----.nwo ?

Could it be Groupon's way of battling a future arch nemesis such as...
