This quasar holds a black hole that's 20 billion times more massive than the sun, and after gobbling down dust and gas it belches out as much energy as a thousand trillion suns. The water vapor is spread around the black hole in a gaseous region spanning hundreds of light years.

Thought this was pretty significant and don't see it when I search. It's difficult to put something this large into perspective, and makes us realize how insignificant we are. I don't know much about this subject, but man it's becoming clear that water is extremely common in the universe. Where there is water, I think we will find life - maybe not life as we know it.

In this particular quasar, the water vapor is distributed around the black hole in a gaseous region spanning hundreds of light-years in size...Although the gas is at a chilly minus 63 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 53 degrees Celsius) and is 300 trillion times less dense than Earth's atmosphere, it's still five times hotter and 10 to 100 times denser than what's typical in galaxies like the Milky Way.

Hydrogen Atomic Number (1), is the most common element in the universe, Helium (2) is second, and third is Oxygen (8).
