I would like to know what is in between the time when we are born until the time we die.

I have observed that it is usually pointless.

I welcome people proving me wrong, but I have tried and I just cannot see the point of human life.

Life is just like a video game, with a higher power determining what happens.

And in the end is nothing.

All it is, is that time flies and makes you grow old faster.

That statement that 'life is what you make of it' was invented by the same people who were crap parents - so removed from their children that they did not know or care what was going on with those children.

I disagree. With hard work, dedication and goal setting YOU are in charge of what you make out of life. Yes, sometimes you cannot control, as you put it, "what is dealt out in the cosmic cards" but you can control your willingness to participate and strive for the best that life has to offer.

You're absolutely right. Don't let anyone discourage you on your mission. We truly can be whatever we want. I'm assuming that's why all the older folks in our lives always told us that when we were young.
