Awesome. Me too. We are recognized for our ability to do cognitive gymnastics when it comes to rapid auditory processing and visual field articulation. This is rehearsed by our brains when we perform as the brain is rewarded for repeating this good behavior. This gives us a much higher IQ than the average non-musician.

Composer, singer, drummer, guitarist, bassist, a couple more but I'm not rich.
And I'm obviously not rich in recording equipment but do check out my stuff, a lot of people like it.

Extremely varied in styles and tones, listen to another if you don't like one

Too bad he didn't compose it, isn't a great singer and probably one of his guitars is worth more then my full studio.
His playing is ok, but this is not what I consider gifted. He's just so-so and has loads of money.

LOL you're right! more than once i've read about now-famous musicians that couldn't get the time of day from audiences, when first starting out. some have to adapt a schtick, a persona or wear crazy outfits just so people would realize there is someone behind the microphone.

i do admire people such as yourself. it takes much work & dedication to become adept on an instrument, and a good dose of raw talent helps separate an artist from the pack. what a wonderful world it would be if only real musicians were promoted & backed. then again, that can be said for so many of the arts.

So true! There are so many great artists in the world that won't ever be known, chances are, they could have been if another lesser similar artists weren't promoted has much.

Making a living in arts is a lot more who you know then what you know.

Off topic, but is it me but popular artists on radio take way too much space and make too many singles?
I kinda miss the one hit wonder days, at least, commercial radio used introduced us to a lot of good musicians.
