There were 8 people at the table and they seized $1000. Sounds like $100 buy-in home games. If you are gonna raid a house at least bust a high roller game. WTF?

Straight up, stuff like this keeps happening. If police officers actually have time to do crap like this, then maybe we need to think about cutting back the force and toning down our paranoia. Because it's obvious that if they've got this kind of time, there's not much actual crime going on.

Heck that poker goes on all OVER the place.
I wouldn't play like that at a private home- folks that hold those games sometimes pay people to sit in to stack the odds.

It has nothing to do with freedom. It has everything to do with revenue. Heck, there's "illegal" money on the table. And that money is going back into the system as fees for jail time and other "paper work".

next thing there gonna do is make onine poker illegal and tell us how we can decide to spend our money. Oh wait they already did that and made me and 40 thousand other individuals jobless in the worst job market my generation has seen. try finding a job when you have been playing poker professionaly for 7 years........................

These guy were probably onine players looking to enjoy there hobby since they cant play online anymore.
