Mitt Romeny says fire Plouffe. He has failed.

- Politico -
Obama has also failed to get this economy moving again.
9.2% unemployment is unacceptable.

We deserve better than this.

Personally, I want to know what the real unemployment numbers are.

These numbers are only based off of those that are currently in the unemployment system, and the people that are unemployed and has used all their unemployment are still probably unemployed and are not being counted.

Yes, many people have just given up looking for work.
The 14 Million unemployed is a low ball number.
Officially it's 9.2% unemployed and over 18% underemployed.

Clearly, we need a capitalist in the White House.
Right now we have a socialist in there.

More Coke and Pepsi merry go round political sales speak. Also called the Hegelian Dialectic.

What else are we going to hear other than the Coca Cola guys claiming all that is wrong with the world and the current Pepsi President.

It's the same old gibberish year after year with no real solutions. Just the same old bipartisan finger pointing.

As long as we have predominately Millionaires in office, things will not change for the working class whom are reliant upon a paycheck.
The Millionaires in office earn the majority of their income from Stock Dividends and Bonds.
Which are taxed as capital gains at a much lower rate BTW.

Not an Obama supporter but a Ron Paul advocate and as to why we need more disclosure as far as the FED is concerned and why Bailout money was sent to Foreign Banks....when our domestic banks could've used it instead.

Used it to lend to domestic small banks and thereby to domestic small businesses allowing them to expand and hire people.

This lack of money is done on purpose to stymie the US economy and the Dollar.
Forcing more young people into the military due to the lack of availability of jobs in the US.

Read: Behold a Pale Horse - William (Bill) Cooper

He describes this historically preplanned economic cycle planned and orchestrated by the major Banks.

Remember when Hilary and Obama were secretly whisked off to the Bilderberg meeting ?

Regardless of one's political affiliation, it is obvious that this admin has screwed the pooch. Dems as well as Reps are realizing it. So a Coke-Pepsi analogy is pointless; that's not the problem.

You'd attract a lot more people into the military by paying them well and making conditions better. A robust economy would be the best way to accomplish that.

the US has been neutered and sedated!! Compared to other countries around the globe, is it not evident from the various news stories of uprisings all around that the American "land of the free and home of the brave" is asleep??

Just look at the top threads here and you can see that they just roll over and take it ..... amazing!!!

Police brutality, unreasonable searches, political corruption, Banking corruption and on and on it goes.

Yes, Mitt, you should know about unemployment, because recently you declared yourself among the rank of the unemployed. “I should tell my story,” Mr. Romney said. “I’m also unemployed.” BTW Mitt, where the true unemployed come from, that's known as a bad or sick joke.

You also should know something about unemployment, or maybe you didn't bother to think about the consequences of your actions...

From 1984 until 1999, Romney led Bain Capital, a Boston-based private equity group that earned jaw-dropping profits through leveraged buyouts, debt hedge funds, offshore tax havens and other financial strategies. In some cases, Romney’s team closed U.S. factories, causing hundreds of layoffs, or pocketed huge fees shortly before companies collapsed. During Romney’s tenure he only cared about the bottom line of Bain Capital, if it destroyed communities, it wasn’t his problem.

“They’re whitewashing his career now,” said Marc B. Wolpow, a former managing director at Bain Capital who opposes Romney’s White House bid. “We had a scheme where the rich got richer. I did it, and I feel good about it. But I’m not planning to run for office.”

The United States’ middle class can not afford any more factories, manufacturing companies or telecommunication companies sending their labor offshore. From 2000-2010 the United States has lost over 50K factories to low wage countries.
...

On top of pushing more and more of our factories offshore, he helped investors find a way not to invest in America. According another LA times report- While in private business, Mitt Romney utilized shell companies in two offshore tax havens to help eligible investors avoid paying U.S. taxes, federal and state records show. Romney gained no personal tax benefit from the legal operations in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. But aides to the Republican presidential hopeful and former colleagues acknowledged that the tax-friendly jurisdictions helped attract billions of additional investment dollars to Romney’s former company, Bain Capital, and thus boosted profits for Romney and his partners.

Mitt, you've done your part to increase unemployment, and it didn't seem to matter back then. Why, when you were helping the rich to get richer with your scheme, you probably said the same thing as Plouffe.."unemployment rates or even monthly jobs numbers' do not matter to the average American."

I think that used to be the case, but as we enter the 21st century, I'll bet the military is looking at a different forces/employment structure. Jobs that can't be privatized will need a higher skill level. Any push by the generals for increasing troop levels will probably be met in the negative by politicians and their bean counters, and we'll continue to go to war "with the army you have."

Add to this the fact that they are exempt from Insider-Trading laws,
they are condoning corruption in Govt,
and stripping any legitimacy to the foundation of any legal system.
You do not have equality, justice, or fair governance.
The US system is a joke.

It doesn't matter where the source of jobless numbers come from or who the heck is reminding the American citizens of these figures as long I have a job to keep me away from non-productive and boring home life! Without a job, there is no way I could pay taxes, err, exercise my free will as consumerism of material goods and services. It appears the GOP and pals are gonna rag on our current "POTUS" or whatever entity for our dire economic straits when we the people need a break from rich people telling us he is unemployed, too. Between the two potential evils, I'd rather have four more years, err, I meant, neither one.

The Obama administration has failed to fix the economy.
All they have is - spend more $$$ -. Alan Colmes spelled it out on The Factor with Bill O'Reilly.
More government will fix the economy? That's the George Soros bible!
-----------------
Obama is in such a deep hole that there is talk he will simply - bypass - the congress
and increase the - debt limit - by means of an - executive presidential order - !
Republicans are already talking about - impeachment proceedings - if he tries that!

-- We have a president of the United States not a king of the United States. --
