Where are all the skeptics???

Howdy, Y'all!

I've been wrapped up in conspiracy-slanted thought for decades now, and; until recently, was the only person in my 'crew' that saw conspiracy at every turn...

Now, everyone I know is thoroughly versed in all things conspiracy! When I was in high school (late 80's), I was the only person I knew that thought we didn't land on the moon, or that something was up at the Bohemian Grove,
or that a Satanic Cabal really ran the government, etc.

After growing up, going to school, and researching all of my pet conspiracies -- I don't find truth in the majority of these things...and yet: all of my friends 'Know' these things to be true!

I visit ATS often for a refreshing blast of LOGIC, and the occasional new line of investigation.

For the record, I firmly believe the earth to have been visited by ET's, in man's distant past, and thru to the present. It is in this area that you will see me in the mix.

Looking forward to actual discussion of highly controversial subject matter!

The skeptics are gone, a few are still left but most of them saw the birds falling out the sky, thought the world was ending and hit the hills. That answer it for ya ?

In otherwords, the skeptics turned believer.
Unless you believe, once a skeptic, always a skeptic

There are definitely skeptics around here. Although, people will label them shills, disinfo agents, trolls, etc. Evidently, if you require proof before you believe something, you are considered one of the previously mentioned things. Sad state of affairs.

I have noticed the quickness and vehemence with which certain members state their opposing viewpoints. Truth is truth; whether inconvenient or not! I brought my thick skin and loud mouth!

Hello there! I'm a skeptic, but I try not to be rude about it.
As for ancient astronauts, and ufology in general, the real reason I'm skeptical isn't that extraterrestrials would come here, it's that virtually every account has the extraterrestrials as humanoid to a varying extent.

That's pretty much my problem, too. I can fathom a number of reasons why they would appear to us as humanoid, but none of them ring very true.

I'm more apt to believe that any creature that deals with us would camoflage themselves in some way.

Definitely an 'I agree' moment! Truth is truth! I will admit, tho, that I can't latch onto anything with the same wreckless abandon that I once had access to...(it's a good thing!)
