I have seen this a few times before and it really is amazing, but I don't quite know what to make of it all. There seems to be undeniable purpose to this layout, and someone knows something for sure.

The back side of the one-dollar bill is new to me though and that is even stranger than the layout in Washington...IMO.

I think obelisks are originally symbols of a phallus(mens copulation organ)

But yes perhaps it used for a sun dial as well.

It could also be related to the elites obsession with the many ancient obelisks by the Greeks romans and Egyptians and/or old civilizations

Anyone is free to interpret symbols as they see fit. Symbols are meant to be a personal reminder of a personal journey. So if you go looking to devil horns and satanic pentagrams, and evil reptilian overlords, there is a good chance you will convince yourself you see them in most anything. These things have been discussed so many times, that it's hard to come up with anything that hasn't already been said.

I will leave you with this. Masonic symbology is exact. If a masonic symbol is hidden somewhere, it is meant to be followed precisely or not at all. So the Dollar bill thing that has been beat to death has a serious flaw in it. I will leave it up to you to decide if you can find it.

I am of the opinion that some of DC's layout is symbolic and may be there for a very good reason. Perhaps something like Ben Gates would be looking for. But I have found no secret map or cypher to point me in any direction other than to marvel at some of the amazing architecture that exists because of our fore fathers.

Keep looking and keep asking questions. Someone, someday, will figure out if there is a hidden meaning.

That would be great... IF there were actually perfect angles. But none of the examples you've shown are. If sacred geometry is so important to the Masons, and you're accusing us of trying to hide something, you'd think we'd at least do it right.

But they're obviously not pentagrams, because they don't have interior angles of 72 degrees. They don't incorporate the golden ratio, phi, like an actual pentagram would. They fly in the face of anything remotely Pythagorean.

Technically that pentagram is unfinished.. you can't just add a line where there is no line just because it suits your needs.

I know plenty of new-age pagans that would be very offended, wiccans especially.

Also angled streets are a Roman design that creates a flow in a city, the idea being to direct traffic where ever they are in a vicinity to certain points. By angling streets in such a way, the designer can guarantee that someone half a mile away can see the "central" object. In DC that's our governing buildings. Sometimes it will take the form of a "pentagram" and you'll see it in the greatest cities on Earth because it's the best way to build an impressive street. And DC was built for one purpose: Impress. Lafayette's goal was to make DC so impressive that once people, especially foreign dignitaries, landed in DC they were nothing short of awe, and made to feel very small.

But putting logical common sense aside.

Let's assume it really is a pentagram. Why is that so bad? Maybe it's because I don't believe in an evil deity like many Christians do .. perhaps that's why I seem to be missing something.

I have always wondered, are you sure that isn't a spider?
there is spider webs all over it, and they that little critter.
I don't know what significance an owl would have, but a spider just seems to fit better.
