EXTINCT, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

They have live trilobites in the south Pacific, just like the celocanth that was extinct for millions of years until that Japanese guy kept catching them of course...

News of Extinct Fish caught

Why the incredulous statement. The guy helped out the thread, no need to "yell" lol. Thanks for the extra info.

Can you provide a link for that please. I have been hunting a little and I can not seem to find this. Everything I find says extinct.

I clearly remember an article I read (paper article so likely National Geographic) where the late Jacques Cousteau found living Trilobites! Yet, for the life of me, I cannot find any reference to it today!

I know I am a few less brain cells but why would my brain make it up? It is a clear and distinct memory!

Trilobite imposters

I don't know, maybe he saw one of these.

Trust me, they ARE extinct.

There is a brilliant book simply titled 'Trilobite' by Richard Fortey. It's an excellent read.

I do not think that these are the same as the fossil.
