Recently 2 minors were charged with distributing child pornography because an underage girl sent a picture of herself with her breasts showing to an underage boy. He sent it to several other minors.

Our leaders need to set a better example. Purveyors of pornography should not hold public office in my opinion.

They are depressing. What they tell us is that most of us are not any better or different that Weiner.

Considering these stats, where are we supposed to find a leader who is completely moral and holds up to our best standards? Who's morality and standards do we use as the guide to find that leader? Slippery slope anyone?

Our leaders are a reflection of us and our society. What this means is that we all have a lesson to learn from this, and it's not just about Weiner at all! We need to look within before we expect to find better in others.

I also don't see what Weiner has to do with child porn. He is an adult, and so were the women. Child porn correlations are a stretch and disingenuous at best.

Let's also remember that if we equate perversion with porn and personal relationships, we are all in a heap of trouble. So again, I ask that you look within before we judge.

I've looked within and judge him to be a worthless perv. I agree that many in this country have deplorable morals and extremely low standards. These shameless scumbags in office though do not represent the values of many of us. This is one of the reasons that this country is sinking into the pits of moral decay. Corruption lies, scandals, fraud are all committed on a regular basis by our elected leaders in both parties.

Now, we all think Mr. Wiener has done a bad thing here and to me he's a sicko for what he did but, no one has even thought of the fact that maybe his wife liked what he was doing with other women online and got off on it. Why would she stick by his side today if this was something she just discovered. (Besides his money)
Come on people, we all do stupid crap in out lives and my personal thoughts is she was right there in on it.

He used house time to arrange prostitutes. He was not married to any of the prostitutes either by the way. Where is your disgust on that? If Weiner should have to step down, why not Ensign, Vitter, or Sanford?

I know how much the reality of one's own double standards can hurt to be faced with but it seems pretty cowardly to pretend it is not relevant and cry that it just go away.
