Compare pre-9/11 results on the calanders/graphs with each coming day.

These results have been taken over the years by Princeton. "EGG's" have been placed globally, and the results fed back to Princeton. Compare for yourself major global events up to current dates.
After clicking on the link below (scroll down under: "Current Results" and view the numerous major world events/results), then go to: Current Results/GCP Prediction Registry/then to Data. Scroll on the calander for dates/years of interest to you, click on 8/1/04 Sunday past of the news conference, of the "Threat/Alert".

They can plot, hide, change names, identities, and plan. But it seems that Princeton University has hit on something really big, planning has to be thought out, and it seems that Princeton is able to pick up these waves and register them, gobally.
Pre-9/11 graphs can give us indications of up-coming events, when compared daily.
A terrorist-forcast, which can truly be of help.
Also take a look at the Madrid 3/11 graph, as well as the recent fire in Paraguay.

MKugs, let's see if I may help.

Try going to the link: noosphere.princeton.edu...

Once there, click on "Current Results", there scroll down take a look at all the major world events and the test results.
Now click on: "GCP Prediction Registry"
Then look for "Data" and click there, here you will find calanders from 1998 to 8/3/04, click on any date, and scroll down to the graphs.
These display the results that the gobal "EGG's" are submitting back to Princeton University. The first page gives a excellent explanation of the why/how of their result findings.

Doesn't make a bit of sense to me either...

This was the first page:

"The mind's extended reach remains to be fully defined in scientific terms, but research on human consciousness suggests that we may have direct communication links with each other, and that our intentions can have effects in the world despite physical barriers and separations. We are compelled by good evidence to accept correlations that we cannot yet explain. It appears that consciousness may sometimes produce something that resembles, at least metaphorically, a nonlocal field of meaningful information.
The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) takes this possibility as a starting point for a speculation that such fields generated by individual consciousness would interact and combine, and ultimately have a global presence. Usually, because we are busy with individual lives, there is little to produce structure in the field, so it is random and not detectable. But occasionally there are global-scale events that bring great numbers of us to a common focus and an unusual coherence of thought and feeling. To study the effects of a possible global consciousness, we have created a world-spanning network of devices sensitive to coherence and resonance in the mental domain. Continuous streams of data are sent over the internet to be archived and correlated with events that may evoke a world-wide consciousness. Examples that appear to have done so include both peaceful gatherings and disasters: a few minutes around midnight on any New Years Eve, the first hour of NATO bombing in Yugoslavia, the Papal visit to Israel, a variety of global meditations, several major earthquakes, and September 11 2001.

The GCP began recording data in August, 1998. It has grown to more than 50 sites around the world, each generating and reporting second-by-second data. Here we describe all aspects of the project, and we provide public access to the data. The top banner buttons or the links below connect you to main sections of the site."

These are the "Current Results", but you need to be within the link to click on each event:

"Five years after its inception, the GCP continues to develop. There are over 65 active eggs as of late 2004, in Europe, the US, Canada, India, Fiji, New Zealand, Japan, China, Russia, Brazil, Africa, Thailand, and Australia. We hypothesize that our instruments (the "eggs") will show anomalous deviations associated with Global Events when there is widespread participation or reaction to the event, and we can expect large-scale coherence and resonance.
We have made 178 formal predictions based on intuitive grounds educated by accumulating experience. A "rigorous" subset excludes 13 inadequately specified or partially redundant cases identified in an external review. The GCP Prediction Registry provides narrative descriptions of predictions made up to mid 2003, and formal specifications, including identification of the rigorous subset, are given in the Formal Predictions list.

Statistical evaluations use a "normalized" database, with normalization based on an empirical estimate of variance for each egg, calculated from its full database of trials. In addition we exclude all "bad data" identified by standardized rules (e.g., trial scores outside the range 55 to 145 are almost certainly errors). The 13 excluded events are marked in the table with a red asterisk, and cases with no normalized calculation are marked with a double asterisk. The first table below shows the composite result for all formally specified events that meet our stringent critera for rigorous definition and analysis. At the end of the table, events for which the calculation is based on non-normalized Chisquare calculations are signified by a c prepending the number.

In Table 2, the results for individual events are shown. Table entries for most events have direct links to more comprehensive analyses. (These use the raw data, but in most cases, the outcome is similar to the normalized results.) The events are identified, and a column with the heading, "Prediction Source", indicates who made the prediction. The number of contributing "REGs" is shown, and the "Resolution", which indicates the block-size for the analysis. The last two columns show the Z-score statistic for the analysis, and its associated probability. (Technically the calculation is a t-score, but the degrees of freedom are very large in all cases, so these are the same as Z-scores (using empirical variance) to several decimal places.

Following Table 2 we visualize the numerical results given in Table 1. The accumulating evidence for the hypothesis is shown in a chronological graph for the rigorous subset. In such a display the terminal value corresponds to the overall Z-score.

Now find 9/11/01, better yet go to 9/8/01 and 9/7/01 first, then click on 9/11/01 - compare the graph results.
Remember to scroll down to the graph after clicking on the month/date.
Compare 8/3/04,which was Wednesday, to the pre-9/11/01 results.

Whats an EGG then, I understand from the context that they are the "operatives" in the field, but i cannot see what EGG stands for. Also i see GCP equated to EGG but again no explaination of what EGG stands for.
Any hints?

This is too complicated. I'll keep trying, but if
someone else 'gets it' ... please post here.

Hope this is of help:

The recording sites for the Global Consciousness Project are referred to as "eggs" and comprise a hardware REG or RNG attached to a computer running custom software.

We would like the GCP network to cover the globe fairly homogeneously but adding sites where data can be taken depends on having friends and colleagues around the world willing to host a site. The project will continue indefinitely, so those interested in participating must able to make a long-term commitment, for two years or more.

Hosting an egg requires running a program or process on a multi-tasking system such as Linux or Windows NT or 2000. The computer must run continuously, and it must have an Internet connection, preferably continuous; if a dialup is used it must be automated to connect at least once per day for a total of 15 to 20 minutes per day. The computer clock must be synchronized to the correct time by an automatic process to keep the data from all eggs properly time-stamped.

The data are collected and stored locally on the egg-host computer. During times when the internet connection is up, the data are transmitted automatically to a central server (noosphere.princeton.edu) where they are archived. The central server also is host to the GCP website and a variety of analysis programs, as well as a web-based data access form.

The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is an international collaboration of scientists, artists, and business people. It was created in 1998 by a group of researchers working in the boundary areas of physics and psychology, and has grown to include some 75 individuals around the world. Our purpose is to gather evidence and study indications of the subtle reach of human consciousness in the physical world on a global scale. We maintain a network of special instruments designed to produce random data that apparently are affected by human consciousness under special conditions. The hypothesis of the GCP is that the continuous streams of data from these instruments will show anomalous deviations associated with "Global Events".

We predict an effect when there is a large-scale sharing of deep reactions to major news events. During the first four years of the GCP, the number of sites hosting our instruments (which we call "eggs") has grown to more than 50, with locations from Alaska to Fiji, on all continents, and in nearly every time zone. The world map below has a bright spot for each of the host sites.

We have registered over 120 formal experiments as of late 2002. Each is defined by a prediction that the data will depart from expectation during special times such as the celebration of New Years, shocking events like the disaster on September 11 2001, natural tragedies such as the great earthquake in Turkey, and large-scale meditation and prayer events like the Kumbh Mala in India. The results indicate strong correlations in some cases and virtually none in others, but overall they show significant evidence that something remarkable happens when we all are drawn into a community of interest and emotion. We have a prediction registry that records details of the cases we analyse, and the project hosts a website at noosphere.princeton.edu..., with complete information about the history, technology, and methods of the project, as well as free public access to the database.

The "Results" page on the GCP website gives an up-to-date summary of the formal tests, and also has links to explorations that are sometimes even more interesting and informative than the primary analyses. We use simple graphs like those below to display the often remarkably clear departures of the data from random behavior. For example, the upper right figure shows the average across all timezones of the amount of variation among the eggs around midnight on New Years Eve. There is a striking decrease at midnight, correlated with our focused attention. On September 11, 2001, the shock of the terrorist attacks moved us deeply, and the eggs responded with some of the largest deviations we have seen (lower left). The data on that day show patterns in several measures, apparently in correlation with our intense engagement in the tragic events.

Okay - I'm trying to jump in and understand what's going on here, but....what you are saying is that a group of culturally diverse people spread out throughout the world use this program to log large and devistating events, and based off of the time they are entered and the location, we can analyze the data to understand its level of importance to the particular nation and to approximate a potential timeline that tells us when the next threat may occur?

I'm not sure if I'm on the right track here at all....but regardless...isn't the greatest flaw of this study to make it public? Seems to me that if terrorists got their hands on this and people actually began to follow it, they could simply go against the grain....it's like trying to predict the next number a random number generator is going to pump out...

in simple terms this may be trying to calculate that if enough people believe in an event or idea then it will be or come to pass. ?

Exactly, you got it!!

I feel this is more vauable then the DHS Alert of colors which is based on "credible information", people lie, while this is a polygraph test of
world thoughts so to speak.
hmmmm.... interesting.... (global polygraph)

There is a map of where all the "EGG'S" are laid globally(I'll attempt to locate it). These EGG's pick up brain activity. As an EKG does for the body. The waves are then transmitted to Princeton Univesity, which we can view daily.
Prior to 9/11 the EGG's level were on the rise notice the RED color on the graph's.
Public or not, there is very little individuals/terrorists can do to stop there brain waves/thought in their planning.
There is an EGG in or near Athens, with a individual feeding their info in.
This will be interesting with the up coming Olympics.
Each day the graphs are updated and available.

Ah - I think I get you now....so it feeds off of brain waves.....Looking for certain tested and proven patterns that suggest fear and then logging in the specific times they occur - I was thinking more along the lines of John Doe typing in a database that x happened at x time.

It's interesting to see Princeton tackeling something like this....I was aware of brain wave research and its relations to our emotions and actions from a class I took on Bilogical psychology, but I had no idea it had come this far....

I'm assuming the data collection is a non-stop process, but have actual frequencies and descriptives been run to interpret this data into useful information....to say something like 5:00am on Tuesday's in May are the prime times or has it really gone so far as to narrow down potential dates?

They better put about 100 censors on the white house - lol - when they see green on the threat alert boards I bet their thinking red in their heads....lol

You have really got it! Now see if there is an EGG in your area, there are several EGG's in my area. NY
Now find every nuclear reactor in the U.S. (I believe there are 120 of them) match them to an EGG # location, and watch the EGG's # graph in that area very closely.
But what if goes red? That will mean some really heavy thought is on that location. Then HUMINTEL needs to take notice!
