They are the internet. They are a legion. You should have expected them. Also they never forget.

I don't know if it's legitimately from anon (but how could you say for sure? lol)
But the cheeseball music took away ambiance rather than provide it. I mean is it a political message or a trailer for V for Vendetta 2?

@ Testsubject: "They are the internet. They are a legion. You should have expected them. Also they never forget."

So they are elephant terminators?

Its not really anything, its just people who want change. Its not an organisation with a leader or anything like that. Unfortunately its been hijacked and is being used by TPTB to further their own agenda.

Anonymous start to break my nerves. Too much blabber and retarded actions. Attack sony? /golfclap. If they actually had Balls and wanted to help the poor and noble they would attack the computer of the banks that suck the blood out of the people. So yea. anonymous for me is nothing.

It cant be hijacked it never belonged to anyone it is everyone for good or bad. It is a face for the faceless. Now the face you have been hearing about lately are the hackers side. This does not mean all anons are hacker nor does it mean all anons believe and what a selected few are doing or have done.

anon is a non group. there is no "structure" there is no "leader" there is no "mission statement" anon is, in reality, a loosely connected network of IRC severs where groups of hackers trade stolen credit card numbers and hack tools. It's called anonymous because you are merely an IRC handle, more than likely spoofed and bounced around so even your fellow hackers can't get your Identity.

It's a interchangeable group of hackers, crackers, but mostly script kiddies. someone picks a target, posts relevant information, the others in the room at the time jump on board.

After the PSN fiasco a split occurred, two factions emerged and are apparently at war. Those who actually stand for something, and those who are merely disgruntled fat pimply kids with too much time on their hands.

Anonymous is "fighting" for our rights online.
the other faction is hacking websites and stealing credit card information.

So what could this be, i think its kind of funny how there is a British accent reading the declaration of independence. Is that supposed to be like a slap in the face or something?

How do they attack all these places, would banks have safe guards in place? It seams kinda nuts that a few hackers could attack the bank of america

Think of anonymous like ATS. ATS has a large internet base. Now not everyone that is apart of ATS agrees with others, but with the countless threads and different forums we all come together for one reason and that is to inform. Some post are great and some a laughable to say the least but it is all ATS. This video doesn't represent Anonymous, just like some crack head post about the end of the world doesn't represent everyone on ATS. So basically don't read to much into it.

It's more than a few hackers...It is my understanding that there are thousands of well educated and highly knowledgable people amoung this group. I think it is a mistake to think this is the old 1990's style of hacking and they are more like a software team of the best in the business. Nobody really knows where the ladder starts or ends...who know how much they can really do?

The video is fake. The bad part about anonymous is that anyone can claim to be part but because it is anon is there really any way to be sure? Like all things on here look at the issue as a whole, the person posting other supporting information and the like.

Personally I think who ever made this has been waching too many sci-fi movies. If that is accurate example of them I would go with them across the street. Comments are right that have been stated here. Any organization formed is either formed by an arem of government or shortly taken over by them. That is their SOP. I am sure they are beginning tot wonder what it is going to take to get the American people off their backsides. Those FEMA camps have been sitting around for a long time. Even people in other countries are beginning to see and remark about how they are trying hard to get on our last nerve. Trying to push us to react. All I can say is guess what IT IS NOT WORKING. Reminds of a part in Brave Heart when facing the oncoming army and Brave Heart kept saying HOLD.

Its more then a "Few hackers". You know the old saying " there is always someone better?" will this holds true. A company like BoA or Sony would have a pretty decent team of Network security specialist, but there is always someone better. This isn't 5 to 10 people in theirs mom's basement. This is thousands of people using tool such as botnets etc. to gain access to thousands of willing and unwilling users/computers to due their bidding.

Its serious business.

From what I understand the righteous side is operating like an intel agency probably using far more advanced techniques in terms of technology than most government agencies. Last I heard they are actually using this DC tool to embed images with information online with some aes encryption.

Read this and it should help.

I would guess that the true extent of Anonymous is not even known to Anonymous.
