Central Avenue Jersey City, NJ Streetscape transformer box art project hidden meanings!

There is a sequence of the electric boxes that are deco'd up by local artists that tell a hidden story!

1. Wood Dresser symbolizes the mysterious and shrouded secrecy of TPTB!
2. Patterns symbolizes and shows how TPTB keeps us distracted with pretty colours and nonsense.
3. Gilded Chest symbolizes the power and affulence of TPTB leading them to think they are God men on Earth.!
4. Untiled shows shadowy creatures symbolized by the black fish surrounding and dominating the smaller white fish and the legs represent the shadow groups trying to keep the people down and in line!
5. Rain, Rain Go Away shows a dark cloud and rainfall which symbolizes that they are making it rain if they don't get their way and signifies the awakening of the populous.
6. You Say Potato, We Say Po-Tah-To symobilizes the final battle between good and evil and depicts a bleeding eye and a loose tooth flying and shows a pair of diamonds cutting the eye making it bleed.
7. It Ain't Arles signifies that the people won the great battle and in the ashes of TPTB that their rotting corpse allows a rebirth of humanity and the blue background is indicitive of the blue sky and the green signifies the now fertile Earth!

How's that for a story telling survival and struggle in plain sight!

I knew of this project when it was being concieved and had some input into the overall layout!

We choose what we see.
Did the artists do this on purpose, did they choose the design themselves, or did the council.?
Matbe the links o the artists sites might lead us into the light.. or further down the rabbit hole.

not every piece of art alludes to the powers that be...
art is subjective, we read what we want in to it.
is there hidden meanings of art and music, poetry and prose..? of course.
but some times the message isn't to enslave, but to free our minds..

Yes that is one valid interpretation of it.

I see it as a symbol of our soul moving to the light having passed though the abyss and fires to rise like a phoenix from the flames as a bright guiding light, that was stronger then before its rebirth.
The eternal rose in physical form.
