One story has it that Khan himself predicted his demise by a false rape charge. And many in France are speculating similarly that he had to be set up.

www.telegraph.co.uk...

This would be an easy one for any of the various spy agencies to set up a socialist, particularly the rat Sarkozy.
Here is a guy who is at the apex of world power and at the same time a serious challenger to Sarkozy. What’s going on now at the IMF could determine the fate of Europe, with Portugal, Greece and Ireland’s economies at stake not to mention the fate of the Euro.

For this guy with all that on his plate to do a forcible rape in NYC is very odd to say the least. There may be something rotten behind this story other than a dirty old man.

“What are the odds that Dominique Strauss-Kahn's arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting a maid in New York is a plot orchestrated by his French political opponents? And there is a long history of dirty tricks in French politics to bring down candidates. Some politicians on the French right warned darkly of hidden skeletons in Strauss-Kahn's closet that” would come out should he decide to run.
Plenty of journalists and analysts in France are abuzz on Twitter and the blogs with conspiracy theories.
Some people say it would be unlikely that a maid would come into an occupied room to clean it. (Then again, according to an AP report on the allegations, the maid had been told the room was empty.)
Others point out that Sofitel, where DSK was arrested, is a French hotel chain. (What that proves, we're not sure.)
The allegation with the most meat comes from tabloid website Le Post, which notes that the first person to tweet the arrest was an activist in the French right-wing UMP party, Jonathan Pinet. He tweeted it before the time of the arrest, Le Post says.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the head of the IMF, was arrested last week because he was trying to steal the American people’s Social Security money to finance the Euro, according to Rothschild family sources. The charge of rape against him was almost certainly a case of entrapment by a female agent although I am sure no proof of this will ever be found. The next phase in the battle against the high level financial gangsters is expected to target Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley but, the closing of these criminal enterprises will only mark an intermediate phase in the battle against the criminal elements concentrated in the central banks of the West, according to White Dragon Society sources. The end result is certain to be a historical change of the sort not seen for thousands of years, if ever.

Well you know, to set some-one up requires a little knowledge of their habits.

It is known that Khan is a sexual predator.

He will get everything that's coming to him.

As for the IMF, doe's anyone like the IMF and the things they do ? total extortionist's.

I am more than happy for all factions to take each-other out, saves us the hassle.

Haha, I was watching CNN today and they brought up conspiracy theories about this situation. Then mentioned the "conspiracy" being discussed in this thread. They were like it's very possible. Now Sarkowsi has a better chance of being president.

I think he was probably set up. Not that he isn't guilty of it. He just got caught.
Makes you wonder if he had some preplanned game with an escort and the
maid walked in at the wrong time.

Berlusconi is definitely guilty and he was DEFINITELY set up. He likes Putin
and our friends in the CIA want new puppets to play with.

I'd venture to guess most of our twisted masters would not EVER go for straight
vanilla.

Or...

Or...

Wait for it..

He's just a dirty old Frenchman..

Either way, he's a banker which, imo, is on par with a rapist in it's own way. So whether the banker did or did not get carried away with his maid fantasy in his 3k/night hotel room is beyond my caring. All I see is a banker in jail. that makes me smile.

I can only see this as a set up.

Id normally agree with you there, but something tells me he was framed and setup because he was standing against the very people you appear to hate.

Something isnt right about this, and if indeed he was a womaniser it would be very easy to set him up in this little trap.

Have you seen the lady accusing him? jee's she's an absolute stunner.

Something stinks...

What I'm saying is it doesn't matter.. especially to the head of the IMF. He probably was set up, an internal power struggle between two corrupt goons. I wouldn't want the person responsible for the enslavement of Greeks, Irish and Portuguese to run my country, perhaps it's a blessing for France.

Yup a setup for sure, do you guys realise how many men are in prison today because they were set up by a woman saying no. Just boggles the mind doesnt it.

Do you have any evidence that Dominique Strauss-Kahn was standing up to the IMF, actually seeking more reforms?

What the news reports is that he was for bailing out all these failed economies, which means, business as usual, and not a reformer.

Have you seen a photo of the maid. her name is being kept secret. so where did you find photos, and do you have any links, or are you just making this stuff up?

How does one even go about predicting such a thing? It's such a random thing to predict, given the multitude of possible means of one's demise. If he did predict it, then it was likely due past occurrences where he was not reported to authorities.

Mabye this could be a reason for any set up of Strauss.

The IMF chief certainly has enemies in high places who will be cheering his predicament. He had recently broke-free from the "party line" and was changing the direction of the IMF. His road to Damascus conversion was championed by progressive economist Joesph Stiglitz in a recent article titled "The IMF's Switch in Time". Here's an excerpt:

"The annual spring meeting of the International Monetary Fund was notable in marking the Fund’s effort to distance itself from its own long-standing tenets on capital controls and labor-market flexibility. It appears that a new IMF has gradually, and cautiously, emerged under the leadership of Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Slightly more than 13 years earlier, at the IMF’s Hong Kong meeting in 1997, the Fund had attempted to amend its charter in order to gain more leeway to push countries towards capital-market liberalization. The timing could not have been worse: the East Asia crisis was just brewing – a crisis that was largely the result of capital-market liberalization in a region that, given its high savings rate, had no need for it.

That push had been advocated by Western financial markets – and the Western finance ministries that serve them so loyally. Financial deregulation in the United States was a prime cause of the global crisis that erupted in 2008, and financial and capital-market liberalization elsewhere helped spread that “made in the USA” trauma around the world....The crisis showed that free and unfettered markets are neither efficient nor stable." ("The IMF's Switch in Time", Joseph Stiglitz, Project Syndicate)

So, Strauss-Kahn was trying to move the bank in a more positive direction, a direction that didn't require that countries leave their economies open to the ravages of foreign capital that moves in swiftly--pushing up prices and creating bubbles--and departs just as fast, leaving behind the scourge of high unemployment, plunging demand, hobbled industries, and deep recession.

Gotta think set up, or this Strauss-Kahn went berserk for some reason. With his kind of money, should be able to get a call girl easy. Why jump on a maid? At his age, can he be that desperate.

Only thing to do is speculate. Was he expecting a call girl to show up, and mistook her for the call girl, or did someone pay her to seduce him, and then cry rape. This is quite the bizarre incident.

Could it be related to the announcement of Osama Bin Laden's death? It sure seems likely that it is part an ongoing power struggle among the elites. Where are the lines being drawn.

So it appears to be another move by global banking elites to hang onto power.

That makes sense.

Most likely there will be additional moves to solidify power.

According to this NY Post article, he may have already gotten what is coming to him:

Dominique Strauss-Kahn may have more to worry about than a possible prison sentence.

The IMF chief's alleged sex-assault victim lives in a Bronx apartment rented exclusively for adults with HIV or AIDS, The Post has learned.

Really? He couldn't possibly be a sexual predator?

The dude tried, allegedly, to sexually assault a maid. Probably not for the first time either... He should, and will apparently, stand trial in NYC. No diplomatic immunity, or passport for this character.

Here, one of the most astute commentators, Ronald Reagan’s economist, Paul Craig Roberts says he was set up.
He points out that Khan was against the usual IMF tactics of ruining poor countries and saving predator banks

www.infowars.com...

Strauss-Kahn was the first IMF director in my lifetime, if memory serves, who disavowed the traditional IMF policy of imposing on the poor and ordinary people the cost of bailing out Wall Street and the Western banks. Strauss-Kahn said that regulation had to be reimposed on the greed-driven, fraud-prone financial sector, which, unregulated, destroyed the lives of ordinary people. Strauss-Kahn listened to Nobel economist Joseph Stiglitz, one of a handful of economists who has a social conscience.Perhaps the most dangerous black mark in Strauss-Kahn’s book is that he was far ahead of America’s French puppet, President Sarkozy, in the upcoming French elections. Strauss-Kahn simply had to be eliminated.
It is possible that Strauss-Kahn eliminated himself and saved Washington the trouble. However, as a well-travelled person who has often stayed in New York hotels and in hotels in cities around the world, I have never experienced a maid entering unannounced into my room, much less when I was in the shower.

In the spun story, Strauss-Kahn is portrayed as so deprived of sex that he attempted to rape a hotel maid. Anyone who ever served on the staff of a powerful public figure knows that this is unlikely. On a senator’s staff on which I served, there were two aides whose job was to make certain that no woman, with the exception of his wife, was ever alone with the senator. This was done to protect the senator both from female power groupies, who lust after celebrities and powerful men, and from women sent by a rival on missions to compromise an opponent. A powerful man such as Strauss-Kahn would not have been starved for women, and as a multi-millionaire he could certainly afford to make his own discreet arrangements.
