Eight said killed as IDF fires on infiltrators from Syria and Lebanon

www.haaretz.com

Four people reported killed on Syrian border and four reported killed on Lebanon border as thousands of protesters trying to breach the frontiers; dozens of Palestinian refugees enter Israel from Syria. Four people were reportedly shot dead by Israel Defense Forces troops Sunday as they opened fire on large numbers of infiltrators trying to breach Syria's southern border with Israel. Another four people were said to have been killed on the Lebanese side of its shared frontier with Israel, as Palestinian protests for the annual Nakba Day, which mourns the creation of the State of Israel, took

i think israel should have used more force to teach them a lesson. IDF troops shot at protesters in three separate locations to prevent the crowds from crossing the border after they broke and crossed the fence. By the afternoon, the infiltrators began to make their way back to Syria following negotiations between the IDF, police and Druze elders. Several protesters remained in Israeli custody for investigation.
No other country would have negotiated, just shot all the protesters on the spot. Can you imagine mexicans going to the US boarder throwing fire bombs and attacking the US boarder marshals. They would have been shot in the head.

Why would the mexicans do that?

They get to walk right into the country any time they want.

Just an FYI

The boundaries of most Middle East countries were arbitrarily fixed by the Western powers after Turkey was defeated in World War I and the French and British mandates were set up. The areas allotted to Israel under the UN Partition Plan had all been under the control of the Ottomans, who had ruled Palestine from 1517 until 1917. When Turkey was defeated in World War I, the French took over the area now known as Lebanon and Syria. The British assumed control of Palestine and Iraq. In 1926, the borders were redrawn and Lebanon was separated from Syria. Britain installed the Emir Faisal, who had been deposed by the French in Syria, as ruler of the new kingdom of Iraq. In 1922, the British created the emirate of Transjordan, which incorporated all of Palestine east of the Jordan River. This was done so that the Emir Abdullah, whose family had been defeated in tribal warfare in the Arabian peninsula, would have a kingdom to rule. None of the countries that border Israel became independent until this century. Many other Arab nations became independent after Israel.

First of all, we wouldn't do anything about it, because at the moment, Mexican cartels are assassinating American nationals and we're not doing anything about it.

Second of all, if Mexico were under military occupation by the United States, and we were building settlements and immigrating to Mexico so all the Mexicans would move to Central America, and the Mexican citizens started firebombing American targets as a means of an armed struggle for independence. I would call it totally justifiable. Because that's exactly what's happening in Israel.

Your kidding me..
If the Australian Government shot everyone that crossed our border there would be hell to pay..
Heck, we're called up on rights abuses for not treating the illegal immigrants better than we already do..

And just for the record, Israel are shooting people that come within 500 meters of their border..
That means they are shooting people on foreign land..

Israel is also performing illegal flyovers of other countries..

O guess if you're Israel you can do anything and it's OK..
