Punchline Confirmed: Porn Found in Osama Bin Laden's Compound

This probably doesn't jive with Islamic teachings. U.S. officials uncovered "a stash of pornography" on the hard drives taken from Osama bin Laden's hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan, reports Reuters. Officials couldn't say where in the compound the porn was found, or who viewed it, but it "consists of modern, electronically recorded video and is fairly extensive."

In the days following the raid, when it was reported that the Navy SEALs uncovered a trove hard drives, a popular prediction on Twitter and the blogosphere was porn. Looks like that may have come true. But apparently, this is par for the course, according to U.S. officials.

Three other U.S. officials familiar with evidence gathered during investigations of other Islamic militants said the discovery of pornography is not uncommon in such cases.

So this is the news that the US has announced? Of all the information we the world demand about this killing, this is what is released? The US did a 'fantastic' of following Islamic tradition bu dumping the body in the sea but this they'll release about him. I'm sure some Muslims may not like Osama now that he watches porn? Who gives a sh17? I wanna see the footage from Seal team 6!

Why is this news? Dead or not, this is a gross invasion of privacy. Frankly, it is none of our business that Bin Laden had pornography on his computers. (I don't think too many of us were shocked by this finding, anyway)

Great point! Speaking of Seal footage, Why were the helmet cams turned off for 25 minutes during the raid?? That is weird...

I don't think anyone is surprised or really gives a fig whether he had porn on his computer or not. I know don't.

It WOULD surprise me however, if he DIDN'T have porn on his computer.

This morning, I read a "Breaking News!" about answering the mystery of how he sent/rcvd emails without any internet connection. The big 'secret' was using thumb drives and couriers. Wow. As if that wasn't obvious to the most novice user.

And porn also comes on CD, etc. Or so I've been told.

Being a man doesn't mean that he looks at, reads or watches porn. I have seen a playboy magazine once about 10 years ago. Since then I have never had the urge to check out porn through any type of media, that includes strip clubs and the red light district in Germany and Italy, where I was stationed.

There isn't anything wrong with that type of thing, but not all men enjoy it. By the way I am straight, married and have a young child.

As for Osama having this type of things. So what? We have known that these terroists have enjoyed porn for a while and even used it against them, as seen in the movie middle men. Is it frowned upon in his religion? Yes, but apparently so is blowing up people.
