It appears more and more people are in disbelief regarding the OS of what actually went down on May 1st.

In fact official ratings relating to alternative media outlets, show a surge this week. People are waking up and unless the U.S government can provide evidence of OBL's assassination or even stick to one story, they will push even more people down the Conspiracy path.

Alternative News 7-day change according to Alexa; listed in order of overall ranking:

Drudge Report -- Rank: 329 Change: 88
Infowars -- Rank: 1,221 Change: 68
Prison Planet -- Rank: 2,589 Change: 2,324
Rense -- Rank: 4,916 Change: down 69
David Icke -- Rank: 5,038 Change: 1,143
Lew Rockwell -- Rank: 5,212 Change: 1,735
Global Research -- Rank: 8,189 Change: 6,375
What Really Happened -- Rank: 4,179 Change: 11,215 Special hat tip to Mike Rivero who suffered a hack that effectively shut down his site just as the announcement came in. He bounced back stronger than ever with the highest increase that we could find.
Activist Post -- Rank: 15,270 Change: 6,336
The Intel Hub -- Rank: 34,894 Change: 2,233
Reality Zone -- Rank: 79,699 Change: 12,878

I think it will be interesting to watch how this develops. Obviously the MSM have nothing to fear at the moment, but any further stories with blatant anomolies such as the OBL assassination and who knows?

Im totally digging this, because all this alt. media popularity could ACTUALLY make a difference. We surely need that. Normally posts on this site just make me furious at the world but this one is giving me some hope for humanity. I believe its part of something bigger, maybe something we've all been waiting for rather than just govt lies.

This is just like when trust is broken in a relationship.

You never get it back.

You could well be right. Maybe this is the catalyst for a mass awakening. I know lots of people who have no interest in Conspiracies, suddenly begin to question what we are actually being told.

Good and about time! There's maybe some hope, for at least some. I've noticed that here on ATS first, highest number of people ever singed in and posts made; for ex., was May 2nd.

all I gotta say is:
if they go after all us conspiracy theorists,
they better have some big prisons.
We number in the millions

Some are just more vocal about
it than others. But yes, this is a
great sign that folks are just not
buying the load of BS coming from
the gov or the MSM.

I agree. The Osama hoax was so blatant that my sheep-like relatives who regard me as a conspiracy nut have been calling to ask me questions.

I hope the government pulls even more of these stunts.

The MSM is running scared.

The truth was always supposed to be controlled by the PTB.

Once the Internet came about and matured, became accessible to millions of sensible people capable of thinking for themselves, the media outlets have become almost meaningless.

They are all laying off employees left and right.

Gannett Media gave pink slips to 700 people because of dwindling revenue.

The first of the year they doubled the CEO's pay!

It will be interesting how this all plays out.
