You dont think that torture started with the Bush Admin......do you? As long as their have been prisoners and wanted information there has been torture. Thats because its effective.

In my personal experience, the general public only view torture on
us
to be bad. When it's the "bad guys" being tortured, they are all for it.

Me? No. I don't think that.
Neither do I believe, from what Ive heard, read, and observed, that it's necessarily effective any dependable amount of the time. I think the results are always a crapshoot.
