Here is an, as of yet, unconfirmed picture of the deceased Osama bin Laden. It is exactly how newspapers and our sources have described it: gruesome... I will give some space between the picture and words so that you do not accidentally see the picture if you do not want to.

As yet this is UNCONFIRMED. However, it looks like what I was expecting after hearing what the MSM was saying.

CNN put it this way:

"Photos of OBLs body at a hanger after he was brought back to Afghanistan. This is the most recognizable with a clear picture of his face. The picture is gruesome because he has a massive open head wound across both eyes. It’s very bloody and gory."

Quick question, I am only asking as I am curious
If someone dies is it normal for his mouth/lips to be locked closed?

And what was the size of this bullet to cause that much damage?

Looks like him to me. Only he seems to be lacking a skull...

Wow, brains exposed and everything!! This dosen't confirm anything for me though but thanks for sharing, I guess - my tacos don't look that great anymore.

For a body thats been bleeding in the open air for a while and transported from the site to a hanger, that blood looks too bright a red and hasnt hardned to a very dark red yet.

Blood looks too fresh to me to be taken where they say it was taken.


Blood doesn't fit with their scenario description.

I am no photo expert but it doesn't look right to me.

Sure does look like him, but with massive damage to the skull it's hard to tell really it could be anyone with a beard at this point. I'd like some answers as to how they were able to dna test so fast. I've read they had dna material from a sister who died of cancer and used that to match it.

Still a lot of unanswered questions for me but at least this picture isn't an obvious fake from 3 years ago

That being said, the pic looks pretty good. Fits the description close enough. I'm waiting for the digital nay sayers to pick it apart using their programs and inverted imaging and coloring techniques. The pic could be faked and they've had 2 days to fake it, so.... who knows? Plus the blood is a little red and not viscous enough to be minutes to an hour old.
Short of seeing the guy in person and doing one's own DNA tests, many will never be pleased with the evidence.

However; what weapon was used to take the shot? M4? MP5? What's the ballistics on these? The reason I ask is; that's a big hole for an entry wound. I would expect the back of his head to look like this, but not the front.

looks real, brain exposed and would have been a lot of blood, thats why it stills looks fresh, it was probably still pumping out when he was in the helicopter

If its real, I wonder if their big fear in releasing the photo was that they will be accused of beating him first. His nose and eyes appear swollen, the nose almost to the point of not looking like his. (Which doesnt happen after death, and would seem more consistent with injury shortly before death)

Interesting photo. It has a slightly fake look to it, but it could just be the very bright lighting.

The original site now says its a photoshopped version of a different picture (which they also link to).

The story has been updated: the picture's been doctored to look more like Osama bin Laden when, in fact, it is NOT him.

The photo is disgusting.

It looks wrong.

I really don't see any reason to release a photo.

Release the DNA results. That I'd find far more interesting.
