New Executive Order to make declassifying documents much harder

New Executive order released that will delay declassification of any classified documents by 3 years, and will make it significantly easier to reclassify any documents as top secret.

This will delay or totally prevent the public release of many historical documents that we have been looking for.

Nooooooooooooooooo this cant be happening. They cant make you pay for the freedom of information act, and then make all of the files worth paying for classified for ever. How are we ever supposed to see them.

Based on this report, I would say we will likely never see the true JFK files. If any are released, as you mention, it would likely be fake.

Maybe if we'd all spend more time educating people what "Federalism" is, and how our government is SUPPOSED to work, and how EO's are bad, this wouldn't be happening.

petition away my friend, but getting the actual documents wont happen, if you do get the docs, they'll be fake. It seems history is easily forgotten. The people in charge have obviously learned from the past. Hitler took away the people's rights pretty much over night. these guys are a bit smarter, they're doing it systematically to make it appear that it's ok to have no freedoms. i.e when Hermann Goering, Hitler's Reich Marshal was asked at the War Crime Tribuanls after WWII how they managed to get the backing of an entire country he said 'Naturally, the common people don't want war, but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. I especially like the part 'denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism. Notice how that is what is being said about the anti-war movement?? Make the people feel threatened, and they'll go along with anything. Nero did it. Torched Rome, blamed it on the Christians, and then slaughtered the Christians. We all know what happened in WWII. And it still amazes me that people cannot see what is going on. So when you're under martial law and you're being sent to the FEMA camps, dont say we didnt warn you people.

JFK was trying to get rid of the CIA, and return the nation to a gold standard. There is a little doubt that a CIA hit team took him out, and left Oswald to take the fall. No report is needed.

You have shown elsewhere that you want to find away to end the war. You have one vote, that's how you end it, even if you are the only vote to end it, vote your way. When that vote becomes the majority, policy changes.

As I understand, the de-classification of U.S. Gov. Documents is 20 yrs. depending on sensitivity of the case. And as for FOX, they are a crappy propaganda machine that still has me suprised. The only people who believe FOX NEWS think soap operas are keeping it real...

From what I've seen on the multiple videos of JFK being shot, I've come to the conclusion his own SS (Secret Service) shot him. Close ups from the videos show John haveing the right most side of his face blown out, and from out of no where(I suspect from being doctored) a SS agent climbing up the back of his (JFKs') car. Odd as no one was close enough to his vehicle to get onto it just seconds befor the incident.

Why would his own secret service kill him. This may be ture, but i want the acutaly documents. It has been more than 20 years. Where are the documents. Lets start a protest to get these docuemtns!!!!!!!!

Actually, there may be something to that... I have read a book where the main thought was that as a sniper was firing at Kennedy, one of his SS men in the following car pulled out a hidden AR-15 to return fire... he stumbled, accidentally discharged, hitting Kennedy in the back of the head. Hell of an accident.

I am not sure that this is what actually happened, but it is not outside the realm of possibility. It is known that the night before the assasination, most of the SS men were at Jack Rubys bar getting $h@tfaced, and likely would not have been at 100% that morning anyway. Read into this what you will.

All of the theorys about who killed jfk are great and all, but we need the file that says what really happened. Please dont give another post about theorys. Post about ways to get the acutal real file. If we put our heads together we can think of a way to get the real jfk assination file, but we need to work and think together!!!!
