I'm watching.

It's history in the making - whether you like it or not.

And look, Elton, oops, Sir Elton John just walked in...

SO wha'cha think?

CHEERS

I'm not bashing you, thanks for sharing the link, but I wonder why anyone would waste his/her time watching this wedding.

Like I said, it's history in the making. That's enough of a reason. And for once it's history without death and bloodshed and hate and strife... A nice change of pace...

peace and no offense taken

worthy of my time.

History is ALWAYS worthy of time... Even if it's a bit poshy and foofy.

Then again maybe you're set up to watch reruns of Star Trek, and I'd surely be joining you there on that one if I could.

Ya know another thing. I've been to the UK but not to any of these places. It's a wonderful (and free) opportunity to put 'faces' (well pictures) to all the places I've read about in books and on the news. Wonderful stuff that.

And it is a bit like a car race - just waiting to see if someone will crash... Though I hope not!

Ohhhh but somehow I think this is going to be a very lonely thread, lol.

Ahh, what's a wedding without hearing Greensleeves!

But who's this guy! The camera just loves him!

Very funny Farjay...

But honestly, you don't want to feel like, in a small way, you're watching history as it takes place?

Alll so cool that...

That's the famous David Beckham with his wife Victoria Beckham!

At one time, he was the highest paid footballer ... Not sure about now though!

Agh yes the pecking order of humanity. Expensive textiles and fabrics, hands that have seen very little to no labor throughout their life (nor will they), majority white skinned, considered elite from birth, have hired armed guards to protect them while the rest of the citizens are barred from owning any type of firearm to protect themselves, inside a church with a British flag that bears a gigantic cross on it.

I learn very much about the species of humans from the planet known as Earth watching this signal broadcast.

They are better than you. They are better than you. They are better than you.

Learn your place in the hierarchy. Learn your position of wealth, power, fame. The so very very few ride upon the backs of everyone else. You are a conduit through which their power and wealth stems from.

I could go on but instead I will watch the event in the same way that I would watch a Nascar race. I am hoping and waiting to see a gigantic crash. One so big that it will be spoken about forever.

Your not alone. I am an insomniac, and was watching a documentary, but I would love to watch as I didn't really think of it as history. I dont really know whats going on, but it looks extravagant.

Peace, NRE.

BTW, if you can answer a question for me, they said she wont be a princess but a duchess, is that a downgrade, or it doesn't really matter?

That's one way to look at it.

Regardless, it's still history.

Here, this pics for you...

I can't answer any questions about 'Kate' as I've no clue - but - it is interesting in a way, yes. Maybe we'll find out soon!

Enjoy!
