Oh, you're welcome
I know you were just expressing your opinion of the "tired advice" the"useless new member" OP was "whining" about. I just wanted you to know that your opinion might of been different had you actually read the thread.

I did read the thread and can you show me where I called anyone useless new member? Since you seem to love advice, heres some for you. Dont assume anything about another poster, but especially dont assume what another posters opinions may be.

I expressed the words exactly as I wanted to them to be expressed, as in an opinion.

Oh come on, you know you didn't read it or you wouldn't of said,

You do realize many of our posters here are ESL or multilingual, and thus maybe the mistakes you are most definitely ranting about (although whining fits better) may be due to valid reasons.

The OP dedicated a whole paragraph to that point.
Ok, I'm sorry I must of misinterpreted this,

And why in the world would you think anyone is going to take this tired old advice from a noob?

complete with an
at the end. To me that sounds like a new member has no advice to offer anyone on the planet.
And while I'm at it let's look at this, just for splits and giggles,

How do you all this about the membership?

Hmmm, hope this was a rhetorical question.
What it is, is a typo, big deal right? But, it is the whole point of this thread. I don't know what you were trying to say there.
And lastly, I'm not really sure what you're referring to me "assuming" about your opinions, but i apologize anyway.

If these petty things bother you (in general) so much how hard is it to skip the post, or ignore that poster?

If these petty things bother YOU how hard is it to skip the post? By the way, I'm pretty sure in this thread SimonGray makes it clear his dislike of the practice of established members calling newer members noobs.

I just don't see how your responses to this thread and the OP can be construed as anything but attacks on the "noobs" in ATS. The OP was just trying to offer advice on ways to better yourself. If you don't like the advice, then move along.

Thank you, drive through....

OHH well said Mr. Pirate, and thank you.

So, the moral of the my story is:

There is something that can be learned from EVERYONE, and EVERYONE has room for improvement.

Whatever, its in the rant section and is open for debate.

Noob is merely a descriptive word for a new member. I never said anyone is useless, those were words used by someone else, someone who finds attacking typos a fun past time, but also wants to chastise me for holding an opinion.

O geez, you just couldn’t let it rest huh Tater? O.K. let me lay it out for you.

The newer member made a thread with tips for improving threads. You didn't like it or want to hear it, so you read 1/2 of the thread and then (Instead of following the advice you're about to give the OP and just move along) you decide to make a rude comment.
The first sentence of you're post contains a typo that renders it useless, which is the whole point of the thread that you would never find useful.

Then you tell the OP he is a whining noob, and ask him why in the world he thinks anyone would ever take his advice.

Oh wait you did say something smart at the end, about multilingual members. Too bad it was just evidence of you posting with out reading.

I don't think it's fun to point out peoples mistakes(actually it annoys me when people do that) and I never would have, had you just gave your opinion and left out the rude thoughtless bs. So if you want to say I chastised you that's fine, just know it wasn't for your opinion, but for your delivery.

And for the record, I corrected my self about putting words in your mouth, and I apologized to you. If you don't want to acknowledge that, you don't have to, it just show what type of person you are. I'm done now Potato Head.
