If every one is seriously worried about radiation and cancer, drink about 10-15 cups of green tea a day. Stay away from fast food and soda. Eat organic food. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. You should be fine, so long as you havent already devloped advanced stages. Your body has many incredible ways to fight cancer and radiation.

In your case...

Go back to sleep already

Your so worried about death that your going to stop living all together.
Tomorrow, just walk outside, enjoy the day, have a milkshake, stand in the rain, etc...point being, if your going to die, your going to die, but that doesn't mean stop living until you die.

Wear your seatbelt, stay fit, and be as happy as you can until you die...be it next year, or in 70 years...

If you find you are all but dead from paranoia, then your missing the whole point of being aware and awake to begin with. So, my suggestion is to simply dismiss it all and enjoy life once again.

This is how I feel. I have accepted that we live in possibly the last remaining good years on Earth. I know that we exist in the Holocene Mass Extinction and that was before Colony Collapse Disorder, the BP Oil Spill and Fukushima.

Right now, as of 2010 and 2011 we are seeing mass kill-off's of fish, bird and animal life on the planet. Much of this could be the result of Corexit, the cover-up is staggering. Now with Fukushima, we have a radioactive threat that has enveloped the entire Northern Hemisphere.

We could be eating, drinking and breathing in radioactive isotopes daily now. All of which will eventually lead to potential cancer and possibly death. But do we stop living because our world has turned to doom? No.

You are going to die eventually, so no matter what at least live and enjoy the time you have while alive regardless of all the 1,000 ways to die.

We all die eventually, but we have time to live before it's over. So live dammit, while you still got some life in you.

I am sorry but I have to say that this is one bummer thread.

I am not into the depression thing right now. I made it through another dose of storms.

S&F to you. There isn't nearly enough info/ updates on this topic (even here on ATS). I would like to stay as informed as possible on any threats to my family and myself. Kinda wierd the media has no interest in something that could potentially kill us all if it blew. I wonder if they would even tell us if it did?

Tell me please, are the Japanese all dead yet?
No, Hmmmm.
Please get back to me after the first few die from radiation exposure.
How many have died yet?

Should we include the death from Nagasaki and Hiroshima ?
And the one affected after that by cancer...

Please take time to think before trying to be a smart-ass !!!

I really don't think they would. It makes total sense that they stopped covering it, just look at who owns all of the networks. They are the globalist pigs who constantly opine about killing off 80% of the population, why would they make any efforts to help out us unwashed masses?

Just out of curiosity, why is Hawaii never brought up in these threads? If rad levels are "frightening" in Alaska and California, why is Hawaii always kept out of these reports? I'd imagine their numbers would be much higher than those found in say, Alaska? and California? In fact, I hardly ever see any reports regarding any place besides the US. There are other countries in the world, folks. Many which happen to be located far closer to the "danger zone." Why isn't anybody talking about them? I live in the U.S, but it's quickly becoming tiresome watching everybody act like we're the only people who matter on this planet.

Yes, of course. Curiously, now is the exact time for them to show how much they care about us, by removing (criminalizing) normal liberties and at an ACCELERATED rate. It is a technique that seems to be effective through sheer shock value. For instance: although smoking is safer than allowing plutonium particles to embed in your lungs, now is the time when nwo fanboys attempt to outlaw it altogether.

I am getting sick of this. I can go back through my thoughts, spoken and posted, and it's as if they are using my inputs, musings, and pre-sells, to initiate the exact events I bitched about, at a lag of about two months, sometimes sooner, much sooner. I suppose that's one way to destroy at least one thinker's morale.

Herbs, vitamins, home grown produce, clamped down upon. It is now AGAINST the law to label your non gmo wares as being non gmo. Why don't we put these bastards out of their misery?

Your arrogance along with your childish response is hardly worthy of a reply, however, I'll spare a few seconds to try and help you out. Next time, please at least do a very minute amount of research before posting such nonsense, though. At least a google search or a wiki read, for your own sake.

Stochastic effects are associated with long-term, low-level (chronic) exposure to radiation. ("Stochastic" refers to the likelihood that something will happen.) Increased levels of exposure make these health effects more likely to occur, but do not influence the type or severity of the effect.

Cancer is considered by most people the primary health effect from radiation exposure. Simply put, cancer is the uncontrolled growth of cells. Ordinarily, natural processes control the rate at which cells grow and replace themselves. They also control the body's processes for repairing or replacing damaged tissue. Damage occurring at the cellular or molecular level, can disrupt the control processes, permitting the uncontrolled growth of cells--cancer. This is why ionizing radiation's ability to break chemical bonds in atoms and molecules makes it such a potent carcinogen.

Other stochastic effects also occur. Radiation can cause changes in DNA, the "blueprints" that ensure cell repair and replacement produces a perfect copy of the original cell. Changes in DNA are called mutations.

The damage takes place in only a fraction of a second, but other changes such as the beginning of cancer may take years to develop.

In layman's terms, it takes a while. You're most welcome to remain ignorant while you wait for us to "get back to you." Figured I'd try giving you a head start by pointing you in the right direction.

Yes, yes. After the Gulf was eradicated, an Indiana casino tried to slow poison it's dinner 'comps' with scallops. A portion was brought home in a doggy bag. I'm like 'did you actually EAT some of these? Gee, I wonder where they're from....'

But since the guinea pigs didn't instantly die, they must be A-OK to consume! Yummy! core eff's it marinated scallops! In fact, it is probably GOOD for you!!!

I'd check the join up date on the person who you replied to, out of habit. As time goes by, however, be aware that the machine will make certain that every nwo agent and sympathizer has a rock solid, longstanding reputation at ats, and all over the net. It's payback for us not wanting internet registration and regulation. False info will be flying like 2 inch snowflakes on a dark road, totally blinding us, creating a hypnotic, deadly, tunnel vision.

As an aside....is there a live feed for the reactors? I know this is frack-serious, because the talking tits won't even mentions this on any mainstream propaganda outlet. This is far more criminal than the treatment they gave 911, the wars, deepwater (are they fracking under the oceans now? Is that what really happened?), and the puppets pretending to run the government. This is so serious that they won't touch it. They are, instead, gnawing at the heart of liberty, legislating more tyranny, by 'never letting the crisis go to waste'. If we crack the beams open we'll find termites, glowing white, insatiable, tunneling for a place to hide.

Like rahm....pretending to be 'mayor'. He is hiding in plain sight! The Fracker.

Well said. I would also like to point out the steady and hideous rise in cancer cases. Now why would that be eh? Let's figure out a common cause here. Oh I know, eating, drinking and breathing!

Hey Guy ....

I think your theory of " Eat organic food. Eat lots of fruits and veggies" is null and void when radio active rain comes down on them ....

That stuff ceases to be Fresh or Organic at that point

I was thinking the same thing, the last thing you want to eat is organic food. Tinned food or ready meals that haven't been radiated would be safer. I would have thought you don't want to eat anything that has been in the ground since march. And drink only bottled water that has not come from an open air reservoir. Water from deep wells should be ok I guess. Probably nothing to worry over as levels are so low but in the future if it really got high watch the tins etc disappear from the shelves best to stock up on a couple of months worth now if you have concerns in your area. BTW these are only my opinions i am not an expert.

FUKUSHIMA = 2,000 Atomic Bombs

Killer Contamination Spreads Worldwide Without Opposition

(San Francisco) – Radioactive contamination equivalent to the Fukushima, Japan disaster in terms of the hated “Mushroom Cloud” Atomic Bombs is two thousand (2,000) 500 Kiloton Atomic Bombs.* Each 500kt Atomic Bomb is 33 times bigger than the American Bomb that destroyed Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.

Nagasaki and Hiroshima?? weren't those incidents like.....almost 70 years ago? yet the Japanese lived.
You say one affected by cancer, or were you meaning ones? either way, ...The Japanese survived.
Please take time to give me something real to fear about.

Now for you, My childish response was a true response and it appears i struck a nerve with more than one of you.
I can tell that you are educated as you use wiki and google as source, bravo.
Sure sometimes you can find truth in them after you wade through the adds and distraction,
Thanks for the head start though as watching so many folk running around screaming the sky is falling is quite fun but requires much energy at my age.
Now a quote from your epa...

The damage takes place in only a fraction of a second, but other changes such as the beginning of cancer may take years to develop.

Hmm that sounds alot like life, i especially liked the part where it said "may take years to develop".
I got a good laugh from that one.
So, in layman's terms, Are the Japanese dead yet?
Are they showing signs yet?
Are they moving out of Japan yet?
If not, why should i worry?

this is my first post to ATS. the american media seems to refuse to publish the truth about any radiation dangers because the operating MO is "do not cause panic, do not cause panic, do not cause panic"...like we cannot think for ourselves. Its amazing the level of control that is being placed over the average american citizen by its so called "watch-dogs"--they are worse then worseless. Its just like the automatic response from the authorities when some kind of questionable accident occurs, "there is no sign of terrorism here" even before the accident is investigated!

I think avoiding contact with rain is a preventable and easy thing to do...take an umbrella, but overall agree with you all...if radiation become so spread around the world, you will not be able to escape its affects no matter what you do--the only protection I see is the LORD's promise of protection in Psalm 91 for those who believe in Him.
