MUFON Website.. Not Found

I was checking up on the Mufon website, and it is no longer there... am I the only one having this problem?

Indeed possibly server down. Or they could have briefly shut it down like they did for the forums last year (if I remember rightly?).

it could be an internal malfunction or it could and mostly be that someone caught wind of a report they posted and didnt like it being out there too much...but then again,why shut down the site and not just delete the report and make people to start responding like this? who knows before this thread gets too big it will probably pop back on soon enough

Where are the servers located? There was one heck of a storm sweeping through the US, might have knocked them out for a bit.

Clearly it's because MUFON is causing earthquakes all over the world. By closing down their site they are hiding all of the evidence. We can expect an earthquake to occur somewhere in the world in the next day or few.

You can see that the site was up as of April 12. I'm gonna say that it is a server issue rather than a, dare I say it, conspiracy. Sometimes things just don't work right, we don't always have to invoke 'They'. Of course this is AboveTopSecret so who am I kidding.

Bah, good riddance. I bet they'll be back but no biggie if it's gone for good.

I was a MUFON member for 20 years and a FI and SSD.

I watched MUFON gradually being over run by the woo woos. Several years ago I let my membership lapse in disappointment. If they ever become a science based fact finding organization again I might consider rejoining.

Just checked, and the MUFON site is still unavailable. The case management system files are still online, but it has nothing dated later than Apr. 14th. Since it appears that they normally log many sighting reports in a day, the site presumably went down on the 14th. That's three days ago. Rather a long time for a substantial organization like MUFON to go without web access and not be able to restore it. Ross
