It could just be the time that it occurs, not the day. Since it is a clock.

However 11:11 may give clues to the date.

by adding the numbers in both elevens
1+1=2
1+1=2

we get 22. It may happen on the 22nd (as people have already predicted).

Also, by adding 2+2 we get 4. As in the 4th month ,April. April 22nd.
