Legalize weed, pull our troops back and release from prison those convicted of victimless crimes and I will cast my first vote ever in your name. Not only that, give me an M4 and some body armor and I will stand by you 24/7 during your presidency protecting you from corporate assassins in a true samurai code manner, seeing as how I would owe you for releasing my father from wrongful imprisonment.

I also have some ideas on how we might be able to improve the economy.

I am for Capital Punishment
if their judicial due process
renders that as their sentence.

Do you believe any innocent people have ever been executed , through 'due process' ?

You and I both know their true intentions.
To suppress the will of the people by
any and all means necessary and that
includes a public forum.

So , by disagreeing with you , and pointing out your contradictions , and your lack of experience , etc., etc., you consider this 'suppressing the will of the people' ?

Tyrant , dictator , hmmm , what's the word I'm looking for ?

Using you twisted logic , then you are in fact trying to suppress the will of the people every time you post something negative about Bush or Obama , since the will of the people was to put them in office .

Furthermore , whatever gives you the impression that YOU are representing the will of the people ? Simply because you have a handful of members on here who enjoy stroking your ego ?

How is that any different than any other scumbag politician ?

The will of the people ...

That's hilarious .

I know you were not trying to upscale and
no offense was taken.

It appears you want a line by line
dialogue so here goes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Make McCarthy proud. Investigations into treasonous acts by officials and by the end of the day, they would be against the wall or exiled. Depends on my mood that day.
*** Punishments should not be carried out based upon mood.
2. Fed is abolished and we are on a gold, silver, petrol or combination backed currency.
*** I do agree with this one somewhat, but you failed to mention
other resources that could be used like infrastructure, like
goods produced, etc .... these are also alternatives.
So I disagreed based upon your scope.
3. Borders will be militarised. If you cross illegally, you WILL be shot. period. If you were given amnesty after illegal entry in the last 25 years, you leave. Period.
*** I would agree with the Militaristic Border Patrol, however Posse
Comitatus prohibits US Military on streets. But it says nothing
about beefing up the border patrol to compensate. And I disagree
with revoking Reagan's Amnesty however, another current
amnesty package is out of the question.
4. Military would be pulled back to European countries and friendly Eastern Blok to consolidate. Missle defence will be initiated.
*** My platform includes a full military withdrawal from
70-75% of foreign soil. Not a pullback, but a pullout.
So we disagree.
5. All business overseas will be taxed to death until all US manufacturing is done HERE!
*** I would agree with tariffs on companies for foreign labor.
However, I think tariffs only needs increasing to make
it equal across the board. I want fair trade, not
free trade. i would also nullify all America's free
trade agreements.
6. IRS abolished. A 1% flat tax ACROSS THE BOARD. NO LOOPHOLES!
*** You could not operate any government on only 1%.
I said 10-12% no loopholes, not even if you incur
a loss. No free write-offs here.
7. County and State Militias will be instituted. You will bring your weapon of choice and be trained accordingly. If you are from 12 to unable to move, you will take part. (religious exemptions will allow for support duty). One weekend a month and 6 weeks a year for training. Military, Police, Firefighters will recieve the pay due to them. Sports and Movie stars can recieve the pay from the Services for a while.
*** You make it sound like militias are mandatory. I do
not agree with this. But it is a legal option if they
want to participate.
8. Islam will be prohibited from practice. You may leave and return to your chosen country of your faith. Mosques will be used as slaughter houses for pigs. (kidding). They will be leveled.
*** I do not agree with this. Islam is a religion like
all others and should be respected as such.
But I do have a problem when Sharia law
supersedes Federal and or State law.
9. Communists and Socialists of any stripe will be exiled or given hard labor.
*** One should not be judged by his ideology, but by his actions.
10. The US constitution will return to being the law of the land. It will be read literally. States will all be given sovereign status. Any articles or amendments after mid 1800's will be stricken. Womens rights and such will stand. Political correctness will be a capital crime punishable by 25 years in solitary confinement listening to Miley Cyrus albums, watching silver spoons reruns, and eating luke warm tofu.
*** Sounds just like the tyranny we are trying to get away from.
11. We will not engage in any foreign wars that do not involve European allies or our concerns directly.
*** While I do agree we should not be in any wars. I have a problem
with going to war for any old reason. False flags will be ignored.
12. We will fund a new science system (without any trouble from oil companies) to find alt. energy sources. Zero Point or near will be given priority.
*** No, not WE the people will fund anything.
13. Parents (especially mothers) will stay home with their babies to age five. If possible, to age ten.
*** No thank you. I think staying home with a child is a woman's choice.
She is NOT a slave and should not be treated as such.
14. If N. Korea or anyone gives us the slightest threat they will glow. We will not be intimidated. No greater friend, no deadlier enemy!
*** me thinks you are too trigger-happy
15. No more corporate farms. Honor will be restored to family farms. Natural farming will be promoted. Subsides and abatements until things start to roll again.
*** The world's food supply cannot be filled by small
farms alone. Though I would even the playing field
between small farms and corporate farms. And yes,
under my watch, you can grow your own food.
16. Predatory capitalism will be abolished (do you hear me Walmart?). Big boxes will be eliminated in cities of less than 20k.
*** Once again, I think your scope is off. Wal-Mart will have to
compete with mom & pop's across the nation when those
tariff's are placed on ALL goods they import. It will now
be cheaper for them to buy American due to shorter
shipping distances.
17. Abatements for all small businesses for the first 20 years of my reign (oops.) that is they will have 20 year abatements.
*** reign of 20 yrs? you will not do it legally by
our constitution.
18. Alt. medicine will be encouraged.
*** I would agree with this as long as
it is not harmful to people or the
environment.
19. True conservation of natural areas will be enacted. hunting will be allowed on national parks (during off season for safety unless a large area can be cordoned off).
*** over-kill !!! there are plenty places to hunt and fish without
doing it in a National Park.
20. GERMAN WILL BE THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE!!!! Seriously, 3-4 languages should be available in all middle and high schools.
*** Maybe you missed my earlier post that English will be
the national language. If kids WANT to learn other languages
that is wonderful. However, English will be spoken in America.
This is no 4th or 5th Reich under my watch.
It will be a glorious 4th Reich! America will be restored to her former glory. We will become a social, economic, artistic model for the world!
America Uber Alles!
*** see above post
Some of your items have been answered already
but will address those that have not.
weed - already discussed as a state issue
pull troops back - already discussed as pulled completely out of 70-75%
victimless crimes - I would not immediately release them but would suggest
they be placed on probation instead of incarceration in some instances on
an individual one by one determination. Or even house arrests might be
considered if a non-violent offense.
lmao, and if you protect me, you're gonna need a lot more
than body armor and an M4 my friend
House arrest for a non-violent , VICTIMLESS crime ?
That really makes my head spin .
How can a VICTIMLESS crime , be anything BUT non-violent ?
How can you have a VIOLENT crime , without a VICTIM ?
Maybe I'm missing something here , maybe you could give me an example of a violent victimless crime ?
Once again , NO , you would never get my vote .
Trashing your car with a sledgehammer. I guess you mean violence against people though.
How so? I'm a bread and butter kind of guy, and an M4 is simple, reliable and made to kill just like any other rifle and the barrel can be modified for good accuracy. Rocket launchers are just such a pain to carry around you know?
However, I don't see myself turning down a tank if that is what you prefer Mr. President.
Problem with being a counter sniper is in a crowded urban area they will always get the first shot, surveillance and police presence must be relied upon to prevent the initial shot from there, as well as other means of stopping the bullet (bulletproof glass etc.). I'm simply offering my services as a personal close range bodyguard in case anyone tries to rush you with a pistol Gerald Ford style
.
violent as in prior offenses.
u may be in prison for weed
but were convicted of a violent offense
prior to this one. just cuz u r only in prison THIS
time cuz of weed, does NOT make you non-violent.
prior history should be taken into consideration.
there is such a thing as habitual criminals.
You expect anyone to consider taking you seriously when your essentially an anonymous person posting vague information? I get the Q and A and there are some answers that you've given that I agree with. But really, you should have just started a thread asking for questions about your beliefs/ideals, instead of a "Hey, would you vote for me?" Which is why I stand by the stroking your ego comment.
I figured you wouldn't address all of my questions, so in that respect, you're already looking like a politician.
you missed the entire point I was making.
That folks should vote on the issues,
not the person's occupation, or name,
or dress code, or how good they read
a teleprompter.
Vote the issues ------ NOT the virtual appearance
of the candidate on TV.
Sigh... What I'm seeing here is exactly what happens out in the real world with candidates for any elected office. Don't want to address the questions, just move along to something else and point in a different direction. I've tried to get my point across and you're conveniently missing it. So why not give it another go.
I don't support or vote for anyone based on how well they speak, their clothing, or occupation etc. However I do want to know specifics about their life so I can tell if their actions will match their words. As we have all witnessed, a candidate can say all kinds of neat stuff and then later we find out that their life has been lived in complete contradiction to what they have been saying.
I asked for several things from you so I could see what type of person you are and how you have lived your life. You can post all day long about how you would address certain issues but those are words and only go so far. I asked those questions not as qualifiers for an elected position but as a base to start researching.
With the simple base questions I've asked being avoided, I can only conclude that this thread is not genuine in its supposed intent.
Let's talk about the space program. Off topic?
Also because I'm far fetched and somewhat demanding, in order to get my vote for a second term I'm going to need to see some construction infrastructure and jobs in orbit, along with a drastic lowering of the standards required to go into orbit or maybe a whole new department entirely for dealing with expansion into space instead of just a failing exploration program (NASA) without much economic benefit. This is the greatest nation of all and we can't be slacking anymore, others are catching up.
Science needs a jump start with some hardcore industrial jumper cables, the city of Detroit could be easily used for cargo rocket manufacture as long as a suitable area for a launch facility is nearby, this would of course turn that city around and reaffirm its status in our country as a manufacturing powerhouse. Simple and cheap heavy lift rockets (an atlas stripped down to nothing but an engine/fuel/cargo) with a magnetically assisted launch (a simple, but energy demanding underground magnetic rail system will save all that wasted fuel space just getting off the ground) could ferry materials and ramjet/rocket hybrids could take crew and workers into orbit reliably. If a profit starts to turn, American scientific accomplishments will exponentially increase. The cargo rockets should be made so they can be deconstructed and used in orbit as construction materials themselves, a one way trip, otherwise the investment is lost.
Plus, a magnetically assisted launch will look like firing a huge bullet out of the ground in a magnificent explosion of American ingenuity, further showing your awesome power as a president and us as a nation.
well in all fairness, I can't comment too much
on what I would do with the NASA space program
as I am sure there is a lot of stuff going on that we
as civilians do not know. I also think there are other
space programs that are private and some even
by the US Navy. I think this was exposed on ATS
by Zorgon or some other member. So before I could
say where we're headed, I first need to know where
we stand currently.
Some consideration needs to be taken in the large untapped work force in America, even prisoners could be used as serious workers, prisoners who spend massive amounts of time with nothing but a deck of cards and a bunch of other guys will leap at the chance to work seriously. I think we need to lax the sheer amount of paperwork and difficulty required for a common citizen to get a job, as well as do a lot to create industrial jobs in America. After WW2 this country proved it can manufacture pretty much anything quickly and efficiently, that potential exists today, but we have no purpose and no great war (just a bunch of small ones). Some anonymity should be applied to the worker when he applies for a job so his past does not haunt him/her, a persons values can always change and should be judged based on current actions instead of previous ones that have already been dealt with.
Edit: Sorry I'm rambling, interesting conversation though I think. If only I could really tell the president a bunch of crap.
A women's body belongs to her and her alone. No Fed law would make that decision for her.
So the man in the relationship has no bearing what so ever, if there is a child in question? Just lost my vote~
Thats the problem with our Family Courts system, they are way to biased towards women, with the mans " say" being deemed irrelevant. Without the mans " seed " the child in question would not exist. Remember, it takes two to tango.
Exactly, it takes two to tango. Keep it in your pants and u won't be involved. But as 90% of children born in this country today are living in single family homes, the majority being raised by women, and dead beat dads are more prominant then ever, I'd say a woman who chooses to have relations with a man is intitled to do what she feels fit ( men do), chances are the father will turn away anyway, but in the event he chooses to have a role, the courts do make exceptions, Roe vs Wade only give a woman the right to abortion, doesn't guarantee the right.
