Someone started a thread suggesting that people in So Cal are feeling nauseous right now. They seem to think it may be due to the reactor melt down in Japan. However, there seems to be a series of earthquakes in the region too.

In the days leading up to the big one in Japan, there were a lot of quakes in the 4-5 range as well. (Although they got kicked off by a bigger 7.2)

So...............Im just curious. Anyone down there feeling weird? Seeing weird animal behavior? Anything at all that may indicate Cali wants to jump on the big quake bandwagon in the next couple days?

In Cali? Or Japan? Im really interested in anyone in the in the lower half of the state reporting if they feel weird, dont feel weird, feel great, animals are acting crazy, normal or whatever.

It would be nice to get a snap shot of any reactions people might be having BEFORE anything obvious happens. Maybe nothing will. Maybe the nausea people are feeling is the stomach flu. But............because nausea has been reported before major quakes, (as have migranes) I was curious what if anything people are feeling down there right now.

San Diego-

The girlfriend and I are both feeling a bit sluggish today. Not really the flu, but not feeling 100% either...

But not weird or anxious or irritable? I think sluggish is a good sign. Irritable or anxious would be more worrying I would think.

not even remotley possible for anything from japan to be affecting the u.s at this time, you guys need to do alittle research and common sence before making people freak out.

Alaska, and the West Coast of the US would seem to me to be natural places to watch for activity right now.

Here is another visual map that will show earthquakes. You have to select the earthquake icon at the top first though.

it's important to note psychosomatic effects too. If people THINK that all this radiation is coming over and is going to whollop and make them feel ill / get ill then their brain is more than willing to convince them that is waht actually is happening.

Its more than likey far too soon for ANY amount of radiation to be hitting if it's going to hit at all instead of decaying and dissipating

I dont think it could possibly be radioactivity yet. Thats why I wanted to see how other people felt. Because it COULD be the stomach flu, or something else, (pre-earthquake reaction?) or even like you point out psychosomatic responses to the thought of a meltdown.

So far, no one in this thread is saying anything at all that sounds like there is anything going on at all.

Slugishness and hung over feelings are prolly pretty common on a Sunday.

Alaska would be my guess as well,No science involved ,just like one of those puzzles where you add the missing numbers.I am not predicting anything, just a basic observation that i am sure many have seen.

Although I live here in Lancaster, I'm going to apply for an assignment in Great Fall MT. Hopefully, Yellowstone will give me enough warning to at least fly out of Malmstrom in safety. At Edwards, there is no warning for a big one.

I'm down in San Diego, and other than some mild depression due to to world events, I feel tip top. Have not noticed any unusual animal activity, or weather phenomenon. Will follow the thread though...just in case. Cheers.
