Uhh or it could be the fact that Qaddafi is a certified psycho path that has turned military lose on his people authorizing them to kill any protesters......

Or the fact that hes hiring mercenaries from all over to come and do what the other half of his military wont.....

Or the fact that hes gone on live television telling the world that if the protesters want to die then he will kill them all...........

Maybe the fact that he has Jim Jones syndrome and is hell bent on taking his whole country down with him in blood if he is going down too?

Nahh........couldnt be any of that..........

But at what point is it the 'United States' place to issue any kind of 'Forced Changes'?

the same thing happened in Iraq with bush...

how would you feel if the leader of Iran decided it was time to force out the 'United States President' and come by force and army to take him out..

But wars make money remember?

Wait. That was when we manufacured our own goods in the US.

Now we outsource almost everything, so.. it will make China more money!

I am sickened by this, and yes, I agree, the statement becomes more of a truism each day that goes by, each week that the King continues to rule. He chooses to "not defend" rules of law, he continues to push a law that was declared Unconstitutional, and now decides to tell another country, (the second in as many weeks) that their leader must step down.

So he fancies himself not only the King of the US, but the world, as well? Or at least some parts of it?

I am simply at a loss right now, I truly am. Not that I didn't see it coming, but I suppose this is what was meant by "The Audacity" of Hope.

Little did the unsuspecting voters know...

Libertygal I hear what you are saying. I've watched his responses to all the other protests and activities going on in Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, hundreds of people dying in those protests and our journalists being attacked, and now suddenly he declares a State of Emergency over Libya. I'm trying to understand it. He is doing the 'crazy like a fox" thing and totally inexplicable.
Unless the protests in all the other countries were engineered and the Libyan one isnt...just a thought. Then a friend of mine said something about what happens if the euro crashes and someone else said it sounded like Soros, and then it hit I went and googled some stuff about oil trading and the dollar. Soros wants to prop up the Euro and crash the dollar. The dollar is used as a currency standard in oil trading...

The U.S. dollar is the central reference currency for international trade pricing and the main invoicing currency for primary commodities. This paper links these two observations within a stylized theoretical framework, and shows how to obtain a quantitative estimate of the gain to the U.S. economy when the dollar is a reference currency. With dollar invoicing of primary commodities, U.S. firms bear less exchange rate risk than foreign firms. This asymmetry leads to a dollar standard in international goods pricing. We then derive a simple analytical formula to calculate the gains and find that they are extremely small. Copyright (c) 2010 The Ohio State University."
Unfortunately, I do not view the current WH Occupier as a person who desires American Sovereignty and we know he's aligned with Soros. So what's his MO in this?
This is still an emergent theory and I'm not sure where it's going but I'm trying to follow the money.

Exactly! I am glad that someone understands the points that I am trying to make.

And come to think of it, I just said Thursday in a post that I could not wait to see the Friday news dump from the administration this week!

I don't know whether the Libya thing was manufactured, but I am certainly beginning to get some suspicions. Especially with Soros and Obama meeting with military in January 2011?

Is Barack Obama About To Order The U.S. Military To Invade Libya?
Friday, February 25, 2011 5:34

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal went on and on about how concerned the U.S. government is about the "weapons of mass destruction" that are still under Gadhafi's control....

The government of Col. Moammar Gadhafi hasn't destroyed significant stockpiles of mustard gas and other chemical-weapons agents, raising fears in Washington about what could happen to them—and whether they may be used—as Libya slides further into chaos.

The Wall Street Journal article also stated that U.S. officials believe that Gadhafi possesses "1,000 metric tons of uranium yellowcake" which they believe are a serious threat to the international community.

Doesn't that sound exactly like something we have all been told before?

WSJ article

U.S. Fears Tripoli May Deploy Gas As Chaos Mounts

They allege that fear he may use mustard gas, that he has scuds, and 1,000 tons metric tonnes of yellow cake, *exactly* the same things they did/said before Iraq.

Then, you have to consider this:

Gaddafis' hidden billions: Dubai banks, plush London pads and Italian waterLibya's oil wealth has been siphoned out of the country by a powerful elite – including Gaddafi and his nine children

The Gaddafi family could have billions of dollars of funds hidden in secret bank accounts in Dubai, south-east Asia and the Persian Gulf, much of it likely to have come from Libya's vast oil revenues, according to analysis by leading Middle East experts.

Professor Tim Niblock, a specialist in Middle Eastern politics at the University of Exeter, has identified a gap of several billion dollars a year between the amount Libya makes from its oil reserves and government spending – a shortfall he expects has contributed greatly to the wealth of Muammar Gaddafi and his nine children.

Qaddafi Deposited Billions in London Ahead of Asset Freeze

Published February 26, 2011

LONDON -- As the United States moved to lock up the American assets of Muammar al- Qaddafi Friday, it was revealed the Libyan leader secretly deposited £3 billion --$4.8 billion -- with one of London's private wealth managers last week in an attempt to protect his family's fortunes.

The deal was brokered on Qaddafi’s behalf by a Swiss-based intermediary who had previously approached another well-known British stockbroking firm five weeks ago with a view to depositing funds.

Obama wielded presidential power in an executive order, seizing assets and blocking any property in the U.S. belonging to Qaddafi or his children.

In a statement, Obama said the measures were specifically targeted against the Qaddafi government and not the material wealth of the Libyan people themselves.

"By any measure, Qaddafi’s government has violated international norms and common decency and must be held accountable," Obama said in a statement.

"These sanctions therefore target the Qaddafi government, while protecting the assets that belong to the people of Libya."

So, just like Mubarek took the money and ran from Egypt, Gadaffi is planning to take the money and run, even though he declared he will fight to the death? Sounds like Saddam, doesn't it? He thinks Obama is going to sit back and let him go on, because he has *so far*!

So why did Obama wait just long enough to seize Gadaffi's assets, so he had the time to move billions out of the country? And now Obama can order Swiss to freeze their accounts, too? And the UK?

Potentially upwards of 14 billion or more, just goes poof? And all the money from Egypt?

Who knows where it is will go? Who will oversee it?

There is certainly something not right in Denmark.

And just what makes it any different than in Egypt where they drove military vehicles down the street just running over people?

Oh yah amazing stuff. All that money. It does seem a pattern. Someone posted a pic of Bam and qaddaf and they sure look like friends. Obam is doing just enough saber rattling....mebbe give him enough time to make arrangements. Who knows. Or maybe Obam is just on a confiscation mission to seize the money for the Rothschilds cartel, and get the oil too while they are at it. Mebbe Qaddaf will disappear just like Bin Ladin. That reminds me, where have the others ended up?

I find it ironic that Obama does this so soon after once again bowing deeply to kiss Netanyahu's wrinkly little butt in the UN.

With friends like this guy, why do the Arabs need enemies?
