Today it was $3.59 for regular unleaded at the ARCO here nearby. According to this, the highest in the nation today was at a West Covina Ca MOBIL station with $4.59 for regular unleaded, $4.81 for the highest premium.

www.sgvtribune.com...

It's just gonna go higher for whatever bogus reason they can use as justification.

This very subject angers me so much. The U.S. should be a totally self sufficient country, yet...90% of the oil we pump from our soil we SELL overseas, then BUY that 90% back from Saudi Arabia! (at a higher price than we sold ours for to begin with) Thats the equivellant of owning a company and giving away its products for free!

I am a person who does not care about the free trade act, and global equalibrium. Because such a concept DOES NOT EXSIST! It is a ruse, to keep everyone trapped in a bottomless pit of debt!

Thousands of soldiers and civilians have died due to this crap called oil, yet the oil companies are the ONLY ones getting rich. And gasoline is the "waste by-product" of preparing oil for useage. Until modern fuel engines came around, that gasoline was thrown away. Such a disgusting cycle the world is trapped in.

Unleaded is £1.31.9 a litre here in essex and diesel is £1.35.9 a litre
That equates to £5.98 a gallon for unleaded ($9.58 a gallon) and diesel £6.16 a gallon ($9.87 a gallon)
( Thats at £1 = $1.60 today its £1 = $1.61 )

We have 175% tax on our fuel over here

41ppl cost of fuel + 59ppl fuel duty + 20% VAT = 175% tax

We are expecting to see at least another 5p per litre in the coming weeks due to the problems in the middle east.

We also have to pay excessive insurance policies and VED (used to be road tax).
I pay £205 a year in VED ( its £112 for 6 months or £205 a year ), but it can be as much as £950 depending on what you drive.

www.direct.gov.uk...

My insurance goes up yearly despite having 78% NCD....it went up £60 this year!!

Fuel prices are stupid, we are being taken for mugs.

What your complaining about!

Here in Norway we pay 9.38 US$ per gallon (4.58$ before T&L)!

(convert 13.90 NOK to USD = 2.4771468 and multiply with 3.78541178 (gallon) = 9.37702068)

...and Norway is the third largest oil exporter on Earth (8th largest producer) !!

you can tell a lot about a country's future
by looking at the headlines in the national news.
Today's headlines for America:

RI Teachers get pink slips (education going to chit)
Boeing gets $35B contract for the Air Force (Military Industrial Complex on the rise)
Gov to call out Nat. Guard over protests (police state going in effect)
Baby Dolphins washing up on beach (environment going to chit)
Dow Jones falls over 300 points in 2 days (money drying up)
Food Prices rising more every day (food is drying up)
Gas Prices to hit $8 a gallon by July (transportation to end)
Government shutdown looms by Mar. 4 (anarchy to rule through bankruptcy)
Scandals in the US Army and ATF (corruption runs rampant)
Home foreclosures up again with fast track processing (tent cities on the rise)
Unemployment exceeds 10% first time since great depression (no incomes for families)
National Retailers (Wal-Mart) has the worst sales slump in history (no money to buy)

We have a wonderful future ahead don't we???

This is NOT the change I envisioned when Obama
made his promise.

This nation is falling apart and we all got front row
seats and a one way ticket to Armageddon.

But look at the bright side:
We still have ATS

well ....
as long as there is an internet turned on.

if I have to pay $110 US Dollars for a full tank
of fuel, I will stop driving and start riding a bicycle.

Or either I will convert my engine to run on water.
Then I will fill it up from the water spigot for about
a dime.
