US will only be happy if they can somehow sneak in another puppet. Free access to Suez canal and a very good tactical position for operations in the middle east. They wont give that up without a fight. Whoever is next leader of egypt needs to be investigated thoroughly.

To have an opinion about a group, that group should actually exist. You saying Anonymous is bad is not much different from someone saying "All blacks are bad because some people once did some bad stuff. I don't know who, but somebody did it. Anybody can use the name Anonymous.

Edit: Oh, and what constitutes an illegal action? It means breaking a law that the government made. If you're fighting against somebody involved with the government, you're going to break some laws. It's not necessarily a bad thing to break certain laws now and then.

AND as a side note: If Anon is associated
with the United Nations then they are
associated with George Soros. They are
all on the same side.

If this has been said before, then my apology - I've read to the end of page two so far ...

It sounds like they were only writing for and addressing their audience in this case. The UN still officially sanctions or condemns human and civil rights on the international front, and it was an appeal to the front (no matter how plastic it really is).

And it's good to see you !

I love that these guys have the balls to cal out the US government. I'm intrigued to see what happens when the US responds to this.
Hopefully they threaten Anonymous, that would be fun to watch unfold

At the end of the day you came in here blasting about Anon this and that, I merely highlighted the fact that your pre-determined opinion is blinding you to the facts! You can accept that if you want or not I dont really care! If you can't see it I can't do anything for you.

Yes, I have an opinion...and I shared it. Should I not be allowed to do that...because I talked against the almighty and noble Anonymous???

I do not forgive the bad deeds done by someone just because they have also done some good. You apparently think the good outweighs the bad...I don't.

Why do you take such offense to someone having a different opinion than you do about Anonymous? To the point that you are willingly denying that Anonnymous has ever done anything bad...because it was written on wikipedia (among many other can use google too) so it isn't "proof" to you?

Does it bother you that much that there is some people out there that don't agree with Anonymous and that they think that any hacker committing an illegal action should be punished for it???

Yes you can have an unwarranted sanctimonious opinion of the group! Am I not allowed to have an opinion of your opinion????? If not then why post in a public forum?

My problem is you have no proof of these bad deeds, only wikipedia and a few other sources of the same information, does this mean thats proof! NO! I mean I can see it now "judge gives life sentence for guilty verdict due to article on wikipedia and other online sources" Ha ha!! Show me the proof! You dont have any do you? And the point of this conversation then is? I never stated that Anonymous has never done anything bad, did I? I just have not seen any proof to indicate that they have! So until then I will continue to support them on the things I have proof of and which I stated earlier! Thank you!

Quite right too. Mabarak replaced a US backed dictator who was assassinated for errr being a US backed dictator and prioritising Israel over the Egyptian or Arab people. The US have backed Mubarak.

The mainstream media is promoting a guy (Sulamen?) as the new leader, a change for the better, and guess what? He organised rendition and worked closely with a certain alphabet agency during the war on terror.

Apologies if anyone has posted similar reply, couldn't be bothered to read the whole thread.

Which tyranical Egyptian government do you speak of, the one which was our close ally until early January when Mubarak told Obama that he would not support the proposition of a nuclear secuirty "umbrella" over Israel nor an expansion of American millitary presence around Israel/Egypt/Palestine, or the upcoming one lead by CIA puppet Omar Suleiman who conveniently was in DC meeting with the administration the week between Mubarak telling Obama "no" and these supposed "democracy" riots breaking out?

I continue to be dumbfounded at how easily the majority has swallowed this horse pill of lies surrounding Egypt. We have a million threads questioning 9/11 based on minutae and highly detail oriented inconsistencies and yet here we have what, to me at least, is such a cut and dried example of media manipulation, revisionist history, propaganda, and spin which is scarcely being questioned. Where is the outcry and where is the truth movement on this?

Seems Anon is becoming more political..
Considering they are a very loosly organised bunch, I hope they know what they are doing..

Anon is everyone. You are Anon. I am Anon. Also, it's always been political.

To add an open thought, somewhat unrelated to my previous post...
My mind harkens back to all of those Anon members who were set upon by various governmental law enforcement just a few months ago when they hacked in support of Assange... I wonder how many of them signed quiet plea bargain deals or even secretly surrendered their Anon identities, passwords, and media accounts over to the Powers that Be? If you dress a bull up in sheepskins and publically redub it a sheep, when it takes a dump is it still bullcrap?

This isn't a hacker. This is a person who can edit video and use a (TTS) or Text To Speech program. This could be just some nutcase anywhere doing this who's not even a member of Anonymous. It takes nothing but a common mind and a couple of toys to put this video on the net.....not a hacker.

What is the big effin deal about the tear gas being made in the US?

Do we blame China or Russia when some uses AK's or their knock-offs.

Like seriously!

The US government should not be supporting either side. This is an internal Egyptian matter, and it will go better (and the change will last longer) if it left as an internal matter.

You would think people don't study history...the more you meddle now, the more you will regret it later.

Good luck Egyptians, make your place right by you!

Egypt takes aim at Al-Jazeera for protest coverage

The funny part about psyop's run media and that's just about all of them...they are all too obvious. I sure would like to follow the money trails from the news agency. Bet many of the trails end up in the back yards of Persian Gulf Oil Sheiks and Western and Transnational Corporations with a wide range of Intel agencies and think tanks helping.

Unfortunately Mubarak is no longer playing ball with TPTB and hasn't been for some time now..yeah...kinda like Saddam.

Pro-government thugs set the Qatar-based network's Cairo offices ablaze last week, along with the equipment inside, as part of a broad pattern of attacks on journalists covering the unrest

Cant imagine who the thugs work for

They compartmentalize it rather well I do have to admit with dummy corporations, agent provacs, the affiliates, and subject matter itself in general as to hide the true driving forces behind it all.

The sad part is that psyops run media no matter what corporate faction is running it tends to work on about 98% of us with the desired results.

Many simply short circuit immediately and default right away with the labeling : conspiracy theorist whacko with the usual comments about tinfoil hats, UFOs, black helicopters, what are you smoking, seek help, take your meds, you have too much time on your hands, you need to get out more, get your facts straight, you are reading way too far into things...etc etc..

These responses are like clock work when light is shined on very real subjects like this.

Now that's what you call REAL HACKING. Hacking Computer Networks is so juvenile and useless. Here try this has over 1 billion candle watts

We're all anonymous
Besides posting something like that without properly covering your tracks is an invitation for trouble.

The government wont turn one eye towards this nonsense. Like they take serious the words of a pizza faced VIDEO EDITOR with a TTS program....(not hacker). Egypt is making the threat, not some punk who's probably not even from Anonymous, sitting behind his desk like a coward passively threatening with a video. A real hacker doesn't threaten, THEY DELIVER.

only if Israel also financed your bank robbery, trained you on how to use the gun and take hostage, told you when and where to to hit, provide your passports, gave you a private jet to escape in,

and in return, only ask you to cut in their friends in, and torture people they send you to get them to confess to fictitious crimes themselves

A thread about a bunch of adolescent Cyber-Terrorists is the top members pick while one of the stories of the decade is happening right now in Egypt? I wonder how this makes us at ATS look to the world?

I can't wait to laugh at all the little Anon kiddies as they are dragged out of their Mom's basement crying after they are arrested by the FBI.

Silly script kiddies...

With the level of what Anonymous has displayed, and being familiar with computers and their environments... I would say that they are not script kiddies at all. They know what they are doing, and have demonstrated that numerous times.

Please, feel free to demonstrate to this thread how you have knowledge of Anonymous being "script kiddies".
