What will be the ultimate fate of Israel in the future? With the United States in decline and Pro Western Middle Eastern regimes being overthrown and being possibly replaced with Anti Western Islamic Regimes I don't see Israel lasting very long. Will Israel vanish from the face of the Earth just as the Iranian president had promised or will she nuke the whole Middle East to dust?

you seem like you do not like israel, as saying it will either be destroyed or will nuke the whole east, i would prefer if neither would happen, and i dont mean this in a bad way but you seem alot like a troll.

Israel is already a democracy (one of the few in the ME) so shouldn't face any of riots gripping the other countries. Their advanced military and nuclear weapons means that it would be suicidal for any of the Arab countries to invade it, even if the US declines. A US decline would not necessarily be good for the economies of the rest of the Arab world either.

i dont think isreal will be wiped out or anything..
Noone likes mutual distruction and that is were it would end up one way or another. It looks to me like a power shift is occuring. Both on micro and marco levels. Isreal will not be happy with what is happening as egypt works with isreal to blockade palastine. Things might be changing there and rightly so.
Noone is going to be wiped, just a little reshuffing that is long overdue...

lets hope it all ends with peaceful solutions theres a lot of factors at play...

I think the bible says that a group of muslim nations will be banded together

This group will join forces with Russia, who goes against Israel for some reason

Although, Mossad might be linked to the airport bombing which could be the reason

The bible says that Israel wins the battle but I'm not too brushed up on religion

But it would make sense for followers of the Bible would want the events to transpire

now I'm not much of a Bible Believer but somehow is it possibly Israel could have a secret weapon that could stage something like the Ezekiel War 39?

Egypt is a democracy. Let us remember that. You support democracies that agree with you or not if you believe in democracy at all. We have close to 400 million people in the US. We don't all agree. We find compromise with respect for most parts. That should be the global idea. If you had somebody on your street selling drugs, having prostitution in the backroom, selling weapons, and your children didn't fell safe to walk to school or go to the to store and buy ice cream and the big bully drug dealer from another part of town made sure your neighborhood police and community leaders were paid off to keep their mouths shut and mud slung on any vocal or visible opposition or outbursts that criticize that particular always threatening neighbor; how long would you stay shut up and quiet before you say these leaders we keep electing are not working. Enough is enough we have reached a tipping point, things are going to change because they cannot get any worse or we don't want it to get worse as they get stronger. Some people, i.e.Tunisians, Egyptians, Yemenis, those pesky American Colonists have gotten tired of looking at their screens (or newspapers)and have hit the streets.

You are referring to the prophesied Gog-Magog war. I believe we are seeing the stage being set for that now.
Ezekiel 38

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: [and] many people with thee.

7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land [that is] brought back from the sword, [and is] gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, [that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places [that are now] inhabited, and upon the people [that are] gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]?

15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; [Art] thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days [many] years that I would bring thee against them?

18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face.

19 For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

Note in verse 13. I believe(as do many others) that Tarshish is the United Kingdom and the "young lions" are the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. So basically when the Russian led Arabic forces attack Israel, we will only lodge a diplomatic complaint. Something that would have been unthinkable pre-owebowma. This is why I expect the Gog Magog war sooner rather than later. However, I am no prophet. I could be wrong.

Nothing will happen to Israel, not militarily anyway. But hopefully they will lose much of the grip they have over the region through America and will be forced to make some well needed policy changes, ending the illegal occupation of Palestine is the most obvious change in policy everyone hopes for. If a change of government happens and Egypt opens up the border it may start a chain of events that will lead to this.

War of course, and just as it seems that Israel will fall GOD will intervene.

The Temple will be rebuilt and the sacrifices will begin again on the already build alter; ushering in the AC who will denounce the sacrifice, thus ending it forever and declaring himself God. This is the part where the Jewish people realize they have been deceived and run like ...well they run really fast!

The Middle East as far as Israel goes has been on fire in 1948-49, 1956, 1967, and 1973. With the exception of 1956, a coalition of nations has set out to destroy Israel.

That didn't happen, and to the contrary, they were each time great victories for those who were attacked each time - Israel.

Israel the nation isn't going anywhere.

Can't say the same about the others, including Iran.

israel must already concede that it's policy must change.
cannot be the unchecked bully with US in awkward position.
it may be too late...the islamic world is unified now more than ever.
hopefully, things don't escalate quickly

I don't think the Islamic world is more united than ever, the only real thing that has changed is Turkey has become more sympathetic to Irans position, they still want to join Europe however. Other than that, the Arab countries and Iran still view each other as a threat, Iraq is occupied, there are still many pro-western dictatorships, and several countries could be in disarray if the protests continue.
Israels policy will probably have to change eventually, but if it still views itself as under threat from the rest of the Arab world like before, not much is going to change, and it is still the top dog in military terms in the region.

They won't give up without a whimper. Israel will most likely seek to control the next presidency more so than this one, and will take out any opposition to Egypt. The last thing Israel needs is a second Iran so they'll do anything possible to keep a dictator in power that is on their side.

It's too bad Israel didn't make peace when they had a good of opportunity to do it, it would be more relax for them now, even more they could have "help" to what is happening in the middle east countries and acting as a mediator. Now its too late and with what is happening in middle countries and still no peace with palestinian they are in delicate situation.

I'm pretty sure:

1/ Egypt is not a democracy - the so-called election of 2005 was about as democratic as, say, any of the PRC's - they have multiple political parties to y'know! no - seriously....they have 8 "Democratic Parties".......as well as the Communists that approve them....

2/ Israel did not "win" the Yom Kippur War

3/ Israel alrady has a peace deal with Egypt

IMO - hopefully the Nth African Arab states will progress to a better form of democracy than Iran - one with real representation rather than what is effectively an Islamic dictatorship.

If that hapens then Israel may well find itself under more pressure to stop being such a nasty little fascist - but it will only actually do so if the Palestinians also stop being such morons - IMO there will be no peace between them without compromise or genocide.

I blame the British of course!
