It seems everything 80's is making a come back today. Are there any hit's from the 80's? All I can remember from then is bad hair, bad clothes and pop. Here's all the music I can remember.

Its true that the 80s were batty at least the first half and that's being kind but Musically I would take the 80s over the crap we are subjected to today, from the ridiculous hip-hop garbage to the kitsch disco pop from the likes of that GAGA character and others. Even music is fake today. I'd take originally bad to fake auto-tune nonsense any day of the week!

There was a LOT of good music in the 80s from rap, metal, rock, trance etc. I especially miss the Metal and Hard Rock scene of those days from bands like Guns and Roses, Metallica, AC/DC, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Nirvana etc. Not to forget groups like U2, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Queen etc.

It was the time when MTV played music videos, New Wave music was all the rage and the punk rock scene got going and things like moshing were a rage and musicians could pretty much do anything on stage while belting out riffs!

80's Metal Scene:

Commercial Scene:

As you can see the 80s were awesome!

I dont mind if the good end of the 80's come back but Rick Astley

In London the 80's revival has been in full flow for over a year now, acid coloured plastic belts, blue eyeliner and red lipstick are common place.

Good 80's

BAD BAD 80's (but I secretly still like it)

Best song of the 80's, as i really had no interest in music than while a kid. Glad nirvana woke me up in 91 or 92 with there stuff.

WooHoo!!!

80's metal needs a whole thread to its self, people think Lady gaga is crazy! This guy turns up in a helicopter dressed in a Leopard skin cat suit and has a laser guitar!!

This song needs to be highlighted for the killer chord progression and the cave women

This song / band more or less started the whole 80's as far as I'm concerned this song is from 1979! I still don't know how she does that with her voice

Have to include this version of course

I wasn't really into Depeche Mode first time around, but kind of liking them in my dotage and recently acquired all their albums...this track is a current favourite of mine, though, the Johnny Cash version is, arguably, better...from 1989, so just scraping in there...

This one scrapes in at the other end...1981...from Ghost in the Machine, their best album, IMO.

Of course, in all honesty, since I was going through puberty around the mid-eighties...there was also this...

Hahahahahaha...how incredibly appalling is that...in just so many ways...

...oh dear
