After all the speculation, here is proof of China's J-20 Stealth fighter.

It appears that the photos posted last month were infact genuine. Apparently there is also a video on Youtube. I will try to post this later unless someone else manages to get to it first!

I'm sure many Americans will see this as a huge threat and even a provocation.

What will the implications be around the world? Is this just the next military advancement for China or is there a solid purpose behind it?

I know what you are saying about the launch being yesterday etc.

My thread started on 12/27 when it was first rumored etc. The topic has been active since then and full of info that seems to be updated and correct.

All coming up to the test flight etc.

Yep... and the issue now is whether or not this had anything to do with Robert Gates' visit.

That's technically an American stealth plane. The only reason they were able to develop it is because of Israel. If Israel hadn't stole the information from the U.S.A and given it to China, I wouldn't be hearing about China conducting test-flights of a stealth plane till I was in my late 40's.

It's Chinese made, developed, and test flown. Get over yourself.

None of it could have been done if it wasn't for America.

You're right there. If the US would stop developing advanced weapons to dominate the world with, like 5th generation stealth fighters, then other countries wouldn't have to compete by focusing a large part of their budget into national defense and military industry.

I suppose you think the Su-50 is American made too, eh?

Israel gave Russia top secret American information too, so probably.

You're wrong, even if America didn't put so much effort into weapons and defense other countries would still try to develop them.

The J-20 was developed independently, the Unites States did not help the Chinese in any fashion. For a detailed comparison of the J-20 and F-22, look here, it's pretty interesting.
