After reading the op, reviewing the video, there are a few things to be stated. One of the first things that I did, was go to the UN website and do a
general search for the actual resolution. It was not there, no mention, no documentation of such on the web site. However, lets look at those who
would support, and history. The rise of the Nazi party is one that comes from history of a people who is beaten down and ultimately raises up to be a
threat, that ultimately caused a war. The Nazi party rose up from the ashes of a war torn Europe, and sought to fight back against the treaty that
would punish Germany in its actions following World War I. There are many countries today that did work with and collaborated with the Nazi’s when
they were at the height of their power. Italy, USSR, Iran, Japan, Hungry, Romania, Bulgaria were all involved with Nazi’s. Finland, Iraq,
Thailand, all worked with the Nazi’s, though were never directly involved. San Marino, Yugoslavia, India (Provisional Government of Free India),
Burma, Manchuria, Inner Mongolia,. Many countries where the Nazi’s or the Axis powers had either taken control over, or influence of were all
somehow directly involved or working with them during that time frame. Even Spain, it is well documented, allowed the Nazi’s in to fight in their
civil war. Along with some South American countries during that time frame, all benefited from their association with the Nazi party.
It is known that the US, did indeed capture and work with scientist from the Nazi party, to include those that would help send and put a human on the
moon along with the technology from such. The Soviets and all of the allied powers benefited from that as well. If you look at the original pact
between the USSR and Germany, then look at the map of Eastern Europe, you will see that many of the countries that the USSR had taken over, remained
in their control long after World War II was over.
We should not forget the past, and those who choose to acknowledge the past or those who it would be considered as hero’s should not be condemned or
forbidden to, as it is their right to do such. We can not say no don’t cause of the ideology of a few, nor should there be any resolutions as to
such. Many of the countries with close association of the Nazi party, would do well to remember such, as this kind of bill reeks of trying to bury
the past, so it will not be remembered by anyone.
