Senate Blocks Bill for Illegal Immigrant Students

www.infowars.com

The Senate on Saturday blocked a bill that would create a path to citizenship for certain illegal immigrant students who came to the United States as children, completed two years of college or military service and met other requirements including passing a criminal background check. The vote, 55-41 in favor of the bill, effectively kills the measure for this year, and its fate beyond that is uncertain. Most immediately, the measure would have helped grant legal status to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrant students and recent graduates whose lives are severely restricted because they ar

Good! I'm glad to see that this free path or " amnesty " was shot down. They want population control? Send these illegals back to where they came from! Theres your population control! If they want citizenship, then do it the right way in accordance with the laws of this Country!
For far to long, we have seen nothing more than illegals exploiting our country rather than embracing it! It's all about sending millions back to mexico instead of reinvesting into our economy!

A great win for the Citizenry!

This further supports my comments:

The slain agent was identified as Brian Terry by KOLD-TV. He was shot after approaching a group of suspects, four of whom were arrested, the station reported. A fifth was at still at large.

Border patrol officer killed....gee I wonder why?

Citize's of the USA have to go through Grope-N-Fly and it seems plans are being made to expand it to buses, rail and possibly cars.

Arizona gets shot down for "profiling" and going after illegals. Congress refuses to build the wall along the Mexican border that was legally agreed upon but never funded (A good use of Stimulus Money???) Then the same donkey's rears who passed and later extended the "Patriot Act" want to grant illegals a free pass???

This is not about "security" it is about turning the USA into a third world oppressed dictatorship.

With limited seatings in college, these kids wanted to push to the head of the line with a total disregard of the citizens who they would be replacing. There would have been much fraud as anyone could say they were eligible. It would have taken years of backlogs to check. The parents and siblings would also have been able to become citizens in time. With millions of unemployed American citizens, this would have been a disaster.

Their parents had more than enough time to become legal citizens and chose not to. The parents knew full well that there would be trouble ahead for their kids and did nothing. Though it may not be the kids fault that their parents commited a crime, neither is it the fault of the American citizens who pay dearly with their tax dollars already for these people. You can't just shove our own children aside so that an illegal foreigner can take their place.

What gets me is their arrogance in always demanding their rights. Now we have to be bilingual to get jobs in many areas. What ever happened to the rights of the American citizen? I am sick of seeing illegals have all their needs met while our own citizens suffer and fall through the cracks.

We need to abolish the 14th Amendment! That's for darn sure! I just cannot believe the audacity of these illegals, who come here illegally ( keyword : illegally ) and cry foul when things don't go there way! If a child is born here with illegal parents, in my eyes and the eyes of most, the child is illegal.
I cannot fathom the reality that there as US citizens whom lost their job, houses, etc...and we want to cater to these illegals, as if they really contribute to the economy? Did you know, per house hold of illegals:

A report that found that illegal immigrants in the United States cost the federal government more than $10 billion a year -- a sum it estimated would almost triple if they were given amnesty -- has drawn criticism from immigration advocacy groups.

"Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household," said Steven A. Camarota, author of the study.

Its just a sickening burden at the US citizenries cost!

The report estimates that granting legal status to illegal immigrants would dramatically increase their cost, causing the net fiscal deficit to rise to nearly $29 billion because, the author argues, unskilled immigrants would have access to more government services while continuing to make modest tax payments.

I agree. If the parents can not be bothered to come here through the proper channels and become citizens, their kids should have no standing in the USA.
This country and other countries have immigration quotes for a reason, to protect the integrity of their country and society. Try immigrating to Canada. You better be under 35 and well educated or forget it.

Why the heck should we take the unskilled and criminals?

Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison!

Of the illegals caught and deported 35% or one in three were criminals.

...Ciudad Juarez Mayor Jose Reyes blamed U.S. deportation policy for contributing to his city's violence, saying that of the 80,000 people deported to Juarez in the past three years, 28,000 had U.S. criminal records -- including 7,000 convicted rapists and 2,000 convicted murderers.

Those criminal deportees, he said, have contributed to the violence in Juarez, which has reported more than 2,200 murders this year. Reyes and the other Mexican mayors said that when the U.S. deports criminals back to Mexico, it should fly them to their hometowns, not just bus them to the border....

Funny en ough regarding the comment about sending people back. The border Govenors of the Mexican States came to the US for a summit, and (they have huge balls imo for even stating this) complained about the number of illegals being deported back to Mexico.

They are complaining that they dont have the resources to deal with the influx, and the violent criminals that are deported are causing an increase in crime in theire states.

Is it really go to require turning the Southern border into a Military free fire zone to get the point across. Fix your damn country, and create jobs. Easy solution.

I swear the Financial aid the US provides to countries is the equivelant of Diplomatic welfare for countries. We give money to assit their Governments, only to have the money wasted, no new jobs created, and a decline in conditions.

It's like shoveling Sh*t against a wall.

The US has the most generous legal immigration policy in the world! The US accepts over 800,000 foreigners each year. But the US should always oppose illegal immigration. There is no Constitutional right for any immigrants to immigrate to the US.
