RUSSIA was known for making very robust mechanical devices thats is one reason we got them to help us build the iss station as opposed to say china

you dont have to wind a straight razor and it can be used as a really nasty weapon, plus gut a deer. bet you cant do all that with your fancy razor?

I have a razor that requires no electricity. No cranking of anything....

It fits snuggly in the hand and is small and hard to find... just in case any thieves decide to show up...

Far superior to the razor shown in the OP....

No kidding, right? Personally, if the SHTF...shaving is probably going to be the least of my worries.
And even if it was, looting a Walgreens would probably be sufficient...

I'm with the strait razor crew on this one, just don't slip. And they are easy to conceal and pull on someone if it comes down to that.
