Porn Company Creates Interactive Sex Game for Kinect

The controller-free console designed for family fun became a new medium for pornography less than two months after it was released.

With how quickly sex sells this doesn't surprise me.
IPhone came out with a porn Ap ~1 month after it came out

"The open-sourcing of device drivers for Kinect have enabled the device to be used directly from connected PCs operating on Windows 7. The Kinect interface provides another exciting interface option for users of the sex-simulation software to control the experience in extraordinary new ways," the game's developer, 3D sex-simulation producer ThriXXX, told cnet.com.

But in seriousness ... 3D sex simulator....
Ehhh sounds something funny to see when you come over your friends house.

But the company acknowledged that its game might be blocked by Microsoft, Kinect's maker, from using its technology.

Teens don't effect the porn market as much as adults, and xbox's have not been so successful in being sold more than a gaming device. (PS3 on the other hand are in more households for it's blueray/internet browsing therefore i'd say the eye toy woulda been a better target lol)

More than 2.5 million Kinect consoles have been sold since it was launched Nov. 4.

Wait....the kinect doesn't have a controller, you are the controller. So, how would this do anything for anyone in any way? Sure, you could "do it" in exotic locations, maybe even have fans cheering you on. Do you "air hump" some fake blonde? And if they do introduce some kind of "controller," god I hope they wash it every time it's used .

I'm just at a loss to how this would work. Is it wrong that I'm curious?

ETA: And will there be a rating system in the game? "PERFECT!"

A. The Kinect must be "cracked" in order to use it with any device other than an Xbox 360. Therefore any PC application using the Kinect is not sanctioned or authorized by Microsoft. There are no legal pornographic games designed for any current gen console.

B. The Kinect is more advanced than the PS Eye although similar qualities are there, the Kinect possesses 3 cameras and 2 microphones for voice activation/recognition. However, arguably no console maker is more guilty of ripping off an idea than Sony's PS Move of the Nintendo Wii. At least the Kinect is an evolution of the motion gaming concept (no controllers) as opposed to Sony's dildoesque copy of the Wii.

In no time, there will be Online Gaming or BigBro or whatever its potential. I doubt they could block this completely.

Ahh, but PS3 is proprietary. It's the open source that let them do this.

I always wondered about this market taking off after watching Lawnmower Man so long ago... Guess it's about ready to "explode"....

The kinect is a little better than the eye toy, but tbh I dont play them games where I have to get off my couch to use em, give me halo,cod,football manager or an MMO over a game where I have to wave my limbs all over any day

I don't know, I have the Wii lightsabers, and it's hella fun to wave those things around (they actually light up), and deflect blaster bolts back at the enemies, or use the nun-chuck to force throw an opponent. I keep looking for a copy of Wii Ghostbusters, so I can experience the fun of a proton pack, hehe....

(and Wii bowling games are still fun)

Although yeah the kentic is much better than the eye toy,
It was still a first idea elsewhere.
Gotta admit though 3 cameras and 2 mics does sound like an upgraded model of the eye toy
