China pledges to enhance bilateral ties, military links with Israel

China and Israel should boost their bilateral relationship, as well as inter-military links, said Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie in Beijing Monday.

While talking with Israeli Navy Commander Admiral Eliezer Marom, Liang said Sino-Israeli ties had developed smoothly since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992.

"As the two countries' political mutual trust deepens, bilateral trade links also increase," he said.

Israel doing more military cooperation with China... will they give US technology to China like they did in the past? Wouldn't surprise me.

The US has to make it clear that if Israel does that, THEY WILL BECOME AN ENEMY OF NATO.

But of course since the politicians in the US are sold out, even if Israel were to give F-35 technology and missile shield technology to China, the US would just give more financial aid to Israel....

Israel can have links with whoever they want... but if they give technology to people like China... they need to have their butt kicked because it's treason.

Hopefully they will be honest and faithful and do the right thing.

Boy you people sure do jump to conclusions....

I was showing my distaste of Israel selling US Tech to China in the past. It's my biggest beef with Israel well that and the USS Liberty. They have done so many many times. Had I written how I really felt about Israel for those actions I most likely would have been banned for using such wonderfully colorful language.

Well if were gonna throw the Liberty out there. We might as well throw the Maine, the Lusitania, Pearl Harbor and the Gulf of Tonkin out there too. The Liberty incident involves far more than meets the eye.

Besides, Iraq launched a whole mess of SCUDS on Israel back in 1991 and we didn't let the Israelis do anything. I'm sure they won't be forgetting that anytime soon though.

Or the time we sold Iran TOW missiles, which they gave to Hezbollah in Lebanon, who then proceeded to blow up Merkava tanks with them.

Thing is Israel sold weapons to Iran back during the Iran-Iraq war.

Besides, Iraq launched a whole mess of SCUDS on Israel back in 1991 and we didn't let the Israelis do anything. I'm sure they won't be forgetting that anytime soon though.

Well Israel nearly nuked Baghdad back then, they deployed nukes, but then backed down because the US promised a boatload of military aid if they did nothing...

When you want to understand the USA, you must first understand Israel.

You gotta give it to Israel. They are brilliant-minded and resourceful. They first tagged themselves to the U.S. as allies all the while spying on us, and ripping us off financially time and again, not to mention controlling our media. Now, if the U.S. does fall, Israel will leave us high and dry and attach itself to China, if China indeed becomes the dominant world power people assume it will be.

We sold Iran, Iraq, and Israel weapons before and after the Revolution. Why do you think Saddam's relationship with the US began to break down?

We made a number of promises to Israel in regards to that and some were outright threats.
