Bones found in dam at outback road stop

news.ninemsn.com.au

The chance find was made at Wycliffe Well, about 300km north of Alice Springs, as the dam was drained by the owners of the local holiday park.

Police have visited the site and taken photographs, which will be sent to a forensic pathologist who will determine whether the bones are human.

Wycliffe Well is located on the Stuart Highway, about 80km north of where British backpacker Peter Falconio was murdered by Bradley John Murdoch in 2001.

His body has never been found.

Well this could be an interesting find, very near to where Peter Falconio was supposedly murdered.

For those of you who don't know about this can read up on it here:

en.wikipedia.org...

Will be interesting to see if more comes of this or if it turns out to be just animal bones, which is possible I suppose, it wouldn't take much for a kangaroo to get stuck in a dam while trying to get a drink.

This obviously means that they haven't found a skull at this time. I guess they will have to drain the dam. Rather unsettling. There is a good chance it's an animal though. It's not uncommon to find animal bones around the banks of watering holes.

Ive always suspected that his GF had a hand in his murder.
Physically? maybe not, but definately she knew the attacker.

this will be interesting.

I don't think so.

I met Bradley Murdoch's best mate in Fitzroy Crossing a few months after Murdoch got arrested and got a very good idea of what he was capable of.

He didn't need to collude with Joanne Lees to do what he did.

Yeah they will.

Won't stop the clowns stating that it was all covered up and it was really alien bones found though.

Though they would never question why an alien was there without a ship..

Or maybe he was waiting to "go home"

Isn't it obvious?

The military took it to Pine Gap and left the alien to Hike back home, only for Bradley Murdoch to happen along and chop him up and throw him in the caravan park's drinking water.

Possibly, the police chased up this possibility if I recall.

Oh and his best mate wasn't much better....let's just say I wouldn't take him up on an offer to go hunting pigs....

May never be seen again.
