A friend of mine sent me this web article posted on an NBC affiliated station last night... I myself am claiming it to be a hoax... But I wanna save it for ATS crowd to debate.

You think a silly joke constitutes a scientific argument that debunks an alleged, anomalous creature?

How about offering a sensible reason for your judgement that it is "probably fake" instead of merely expressing your opinion? I remind you that ATS is about trying to establish the truth about reported anomalies that appear not to fit the scientific paradigm of reality. Anyone can offer vacuous opinions that prove nothing.

really? could you link the threads? so far as i know this picture has only surfaced in the last two weeks or so. i first saw it two days ago on fidgit. please provide the thread links so we know it actually was posted and debunked before.

it's definitely a weird picture. hoax or not it's creepy. don't be afraid to post things even if you can't find them on search and they've been posted before. at least then you'll know and so will others who've not had the chance to see or find out about pictures on the web.

i think a lot of people have to remember that the search function is specific. if someone posts a thread about "mutant man destroys camp" and another searches for the same picture on ats with the headline of a local or national news paper being different, they will find nothing. how are they supposed to guess every possible way someone could title a post about the picture? they can't.

so just remember folks.....it's not like everyone who's posting this picture is out to troll the boards. be more polite jeeze.
