The laws are needed by the legal landowners to protect themselves from the daily terrorist threat from the Palestinians.

I'd like to know how not selling or renting to non-Jews helps to protect anyone from a terrorist threat?

If anything, if a "terrorist" thinks a Muslim might be living there, they might think twice about blowing the place up.

Your arguement that this law is needed to protect them against terrorism has so many flaws, I don't know where to begin.

So you stand by your comments, even though they make absolutely no sense in the context of the topic, unless you are saying every non-Jew is a terrorist thug?

You must enjoy the taste of feet, man. 'Cause the post I responded to just made no sense in context. The article isn't "Don't sell land to terrorists," it's "don't sell to non-Jews."

"Deadly serious" just makes it extra-goofy.

It is context. Don't care what you think it is your opinion. "taste of feet" Someone else who has to be offensive because someone does not agree with them. Hmmmmmmmmmmm !!

It's not a matter of agree or disagree. it's a matter of you making no sense unless you are saying something that is truly off-the-wall.

Others have asked you how not selling to say, Japanese investors protects anyone from terrorist attacks.

And one wonders why, if it's an issue of security, why the Rabbis are the ones making the recommendation, rather than someone in the Israeli government.

The answer is; it has nothing to do with terrorism. It has to do with a pack of religious supremacist furheads trying to keep Israel "pure," and has no support from the government, or the Israeli people.

Why haven't you given your opinion on how it stops a terroristic threat yet? Just that it does. You ARE the one who brought it up. We would like you to expand on your own opinion.

I used to think a two-state solution was possible, but I now realize it is not. The establishment of Israel as a Jewish homeland is very racist. The religion itself is racism at its worst. When you read stories like this you realize that the religious bigots and racists are in control. If you read the Torah and Old Testament, you will see that the promised land is very huge. The crazies will not rest until they have what their little black books state they are entitled to. The only solution is the total elimination of the state of Israel. The Jews who live in these areas will be part of a democratic state or go back to the countries they belong to. No more Jewish homeland.

If the shoe fits? It's the fact of the holocaust which makes Israel's behavior particularly odious; it's the raw hypocrisy of it all.

It's sort of like how the slave colony of Liberia, founded by American slaves... their first action as a nation was to enslave the native tribes and institute a US-style plantation system.

It's wrong just on principle, but when you consider who it is DOING that wrong, it becomes rather staggering.

Here's a notion for you - not all opinions are valid.

Some opinions are informed, based on facts and reason, evaluated and considered by the speaker. They are supported and validated by investigation into the matter.

Other opinions are the nonsense conjured up by people with a compulsive need to add to the noise level of a conversation. These opinions are rarely informed, rather being just "top of the head" comments that turn a discussion into their speaker's personal twitter feed.

Facts on the ground are thus: Israel has a coalition of orthodox Rabbis who have more weight with the government of Israel than they probably should. These fellows have a solid record of just being plain racist, working against anything that might "contaminate" the Jewishness of Israel. These are the guys who are suggesting that property not be sold to non-Jews, and further, they are not winning the support of the Israeli government (which rather enjoys foreign investment) OR the people of Israel (who are generally a lot more liberal and open-minded than your average orthodox rabbi).

So yes. My opinion is that this is yet another measure by these self-proclaimed guardians of israel's jewish chastity in order to "keep Israel pure." This is an opinion based wholly on the facts at hand.

Your claim is that it somehow protects Israel against hamas. Your "evidence" is nothing more than some more of your own personal twitter feed.

Your have a right to your opinion, but that does not mean that any rational, thinking person should ever consider it valid or informed.

Good day, sir.

By the sounds you are the racist one !!!!!!!!!!! - lost your argument big time there!

Your bad again!. I don't use twitter & it's a real lame attempt to use as bit of sarcastic parody type humor

Your have a right to your opinion, but that does not mean that any rational, thinking person should ever consider it valid or informed.

So because I don't agree with you my opinion is not informed, invalid & irrational Hmmmmmmmmmm . You are real tolerant to another person's views who differ from your own!

Good day, sir

the funniest thing you wrote. Your sarcasm kills me lol. My wife & I are in hysterics about you! Keep it up great work!

The point is you have resorted to being personally rude & insulting because you have been well & truly smashed in this argument! Anybody else want a crack?

I have read the thread and your opinion that not selling any land to non-jews causes less terrorism. What I am asking is how exactly does this stop terrorism? You have yet to cite any evidence that your opinion is correct. Please show me a study that states not selling or renting to non-jews makes less terrorism.

Or is all you have are opinions? Because we all know that opinions are like arseholes.........everyone has one.

These are proposed laws.

But evidence exists of how Hamas terrorists use civilian areas to store weapons & act as strategic military points & then try to manipulate the news with fake stories to inflame the situation!. Then there are sleeper suicide bombers who can come out of the woodwork at any given time in the name of their bogus "Extremist" form of Islam!. True it is harsh on some but that is what terrorism has forced upon us ..... some innocents will suffer but they know who to blame & if they think it surely is not Israel. I sure as hell would not want any of this in my area so you cannot blame the Israeli's for not wanting war on their doorstep where they & their children live!

Anyway.

Well I could go on all day. Israel are only reacting to the daily assault perpetrated on them by the Iranian back terrorists Hamas. Hamas play the game of converting otherwise moderate Muslims into Extremist terrorists. If this gets into their neighborhoods it will continue. They need to be pro-active to stop this!

Again look at the above the Rabbi's want the laws so they don't get this rubbish in their neighborhoods. As you said opinions are like ...... that is mine you have yours don't care!!!!! Long Live our Ally Israel!

See. Now that wasn't too hard was it?

BTW, now that you've given some evidence, I'm starting to lean more towards your way of thinking. Although, I still feel this is very racist. Just because some non-jews are terrorists doesn't mean all are.

Thank for the kind reply (sincerely) Yes I do agree to some extent with your statement above. Innocents will suffer but as i said terrorism has forced unfair things on people all around the world. An example of this is increased security & scrutiny put on some people they enter airports etc. Nearly all that pass through airports do not have terrorist intentions but they have to suffer this through no fault of their own. It is discriminatory but what can you do? Desperate times = desperate measures. Sad but true!

Also I am not Jewish so this law would apply to me also. It is harsh but I accept it
