No I don't think I'm debunking something , I'm giving an explanation for what we are seeing on the video , which is what you asked for in the OP .

I've said it before and now again, this is a point of light being digitally blown up, that causes the halo and the wing shape, its NOT what is actually in the sky, its a poor digital / optics image of what it thinks its seeing. People always forget that a digital zoom is what it sounds like, its a zoom mode that takes over from the limits of the optical zoom ie a true image and then starts filling in its own blanks as to what it's zooming on.

Sometimes its not too bad but when the source is a tiny point of light then it creates a total nonsense of a picture.
