Well, I wouldnt say that its just a "theory made by some paranoid nutjobs". The zodiac calendar has been around for thousands of years, along with the stories of the ages of destruction. The Hopi, among other past civilizations believe that there have been destructions of the world in the past and there is still one more i believe. I think according to them, 2012 is the last destruction of the world, but im not 100% certain. I'll have to look it up.

I am waiting for 21st December 2012 desperately, i want something to happen on that day, even if its death i will humbly accept it. So the day before i will be doing the same thing which i do everyday i.e. praying for a change, praying for freedom and thats what we all should be doing.

The sun is doing a magnetic reversal soon. The reversal leads to a solar maximum in 2013.

Seriously? I don't know where I'll be this Saturday!

December 21, 2012 is approximately the 2000th priority on my list! Hopefully it will make it to the top of my list by at least December 20, 2012. If it goes like many of my other listed items, I should probably begin to worry and plan for it by early 2013.

That's not true. No civilization has marked 2012 as significant and that includes the Mayans. They had no predictions associated with the long count calendar. They would toss big feasts when the calendar dates rolled over just as we do. Finally, remember that the 2012 date is based on something called the GMT correlation. It is the means by which we match up the Mayan long count calendar with our Gregorian calendar. Not everyone agrees with the GMT correlation.

There are 3 pieces to the year 2000:
1. The year rolled over just like a car's odometer
2. There was a potential for problems in many computer systems
3. There was a planetary alignment
