You don't have to be condescending, maybe it threatens you?

People don't make fun of pseudoscience because it scares them, they do so because of the absurd claims made. Here's another example.

What if I start selling DVD sets telling people how to telepathically contact aliens from another world. The people who laugh at me aren't afraid that I might be right, they're laughing because of how utterly stupid and absurd the claims I'm making are and the fact I have no evidence to back them up.

This sort of new age pseudospiritiual pseudoscientific mumbo jumbo is just the sort of thing that deserves to be laughed at.

Well now I think I will go and produce something like this and charge 167 bucks for it, I just got to settle on what "IT" should be. Maybe making purple unicorns appear. Maybe I'll call it "Manifesting legendary creatures" yeah yeah HELL I am gonna be rich, mama!!!!

What about you just try the techniques I've described in my earlier post? All you need is either a person to listen or a tape recorder. That's all.
