The silent invasion? The infiltration of western governance institutes and power bases? Communists, Zionists and Islamists are all at it!

Granted it is but one theory. But if correct, the "invasion" is no longer "silent" and has moved to another phase.
Effectively dangling cash before Parliament could hardly be considered stealth.

All I'm saying is beware of Nigerian princes and long lost rich uncles.

Could you explain exactly why he could not be?
Am interested in what your opinion is of why.

None of these stand on their own but, combined, it is easily enough to convince me he is not a lord.

Ermmm.. he could be a dyslexic hereditary peer on holiday??

This is the shadow government - must read - bahai-library.com...

The Administrative Order is certainly the nucleus and pattern of the World Order of Baha'u'llah, but it is in embryonic form, and must undergo major evolutionary developments in the course of time. Certain passages in the writings on this subject establish matters of principle, certain ones describe the ultimate goal of the Most Great Peace, and certain of them relate to stages of development on the way to the attainment of that goal.

Also, I was thinking foundation 'X' might stand for '10', as in the ten horns of Revelation.

Treasury has 'decided not to pursue' £22bn Foundation X proposal
source www.zdnet.co.uk...

Many have suggested Lord James has been taken in by an elaborate scam, perhaps involving the so-called Office of International Treasury Control, but the peer is adamant that this is not the case. The Treasury's statement appears to contradict Lord James' claim that he has met with Lord Sassoon to discuss Foundation X's offer, although it is not clear how he related the offer if not in some kind of meeting. The line that neither Lord Sassoon nor Treasury officials had met with the foundation itself, though, makes sense, as according to Lord James Foundation X expects to be contacted "only by someone equal to head of state status or someone with an international security rating equal to the top six people in the world".

What do we know about this mysterious organisation. Assuming that they exist which I suspect is the case.

1.)
They would appear to be anglo-philes as they are offering this money interest free to the British Government (citizens) and they seem to be indicating that there are no real strings attached and therefore appear to be genuinely wanting to act as benefactors.

2)
They are secretive and one would assume they wish to remain anonymous or else why would they stipulate such high security clearances.

3)
This organisations financial structure seems to have begun less than 100 years ago and one would assume that they have operated under no real governmental over site

4) They appear to have substantial quantities of gold so they have somehow managed to avoid any sort of governmental oversight. So I would assume the gold was mined in the sort of environment whereby the culture allowed a certain amount of freedom from control at the time. The only place I can think of would be Africa, which was undeveloped and had a ready source of natural materials such as gold and diamonds and allowed for the natural development of cartels.

Based on these clues I would hazard a guess the most obvious candidate for the identity of this Trust is an organisation that is similar in nature to the British Round Table founded by Cecil Rhodes and probably acts as a holding company. If this organisation with its important connections in the financial world had found gold it would have kept it secret in order to maintain the price of the commodity and quite sensibly would have gradually accrued vast amounts of wealth through its connections with Lazards, Rothschilds, De Beers, Carnegie UK Trust, Rockerfeller, and the Whitney families

Source Wlkepedia
At his death he was considered one of the wealthiest men in the world. In his first will, of 1877, (before he had accumulated his wealth), Rhodes wanted to create a secret society that would bring the whole world under British rule.[4] The exact wording from this will is:
To and for the establishment, promotion and development of a Secret Society, the true aim and object whereof shall be for the extension of British rule throughout the world, the perfecting of a system of emigration from the United Kingdom, and of colonisation by British subjects of all lands where the means of livelihood are attainable by energy, labour and enterprise, and especially the occupation by British settlers of the entire Continent of Africa, the Holy Land, the Valley of the Euphrates, the Islands of Cyprus and Candia, the whole of South America, the Islands of the Pacific not heretofore possessed by Great Britain, the whole of the Malay Archipelago, the seaboard of China and Japan, the ultimate recovery of the United States of America as an integral part of the British Empire, the inauguration of a system of Colonial representation in the Imperial Parliament which may tend to weld together the disjointed members of the Empire and, finally, the foundation of so great a Power as to render wars impossible, and promote the best interests of humanity.[38
