If anyone is going, try to take some crowd shots...would be interesting to see some on the ground counts of turnout.

Pity I couldn't make it...but alas, I am neither fearful nor sane...felt uninvited

Oh, I put this in the political madness section because...well, thats pretty much where it belongs given the subject.

Alot of Dem congressmen are hopeing this rally will be doing some miracles for their polling...but I don't see that happening frankly...people are a bit too grumpy that this isn't utopia yet.

Can’t make it to Washington D.C. for the Rally to Restore Sanity on October 30th? Too lazy to go to Civic Center Plaza for the San Francisco DIY Satellite Rally to Restore Sanity? Then get up early and head down to Ez5 Bar in the Chinancial District and watch the rally with a drink in your hand and a free breakfast in your stomach. The bar opens at 8pm and there’s some seriously comfy seating...

'Must be getting pretty bad on the political front if it drives people to drink at 8 am.

Well, I find it funny that Ed Schultz got all hot and bothered about the rally to promote insanity.

I thought he would fit right in.

Also, I heard they are not allowing video? Is that true?

I am sure there will be some nice citizen journalists there to get some shots. Unless of course for some reason they do not want coverage, why would that be?

Did the last insanity rally coverage make someone look bad?

They don't want coverage at the rally? That's kind of hard to prevent, plus it is on live TV right now. So anyone with a DVR, a computer, and the know how could get a raw video of the rally.
